final destination

43 5 3

We are all well faring travellers
taking down our separate roads
walking to get to a final stop
a definite destination which is death.

A place of no peace and all war is done
you no longer fear or hope
no longer burn nor freeze like ice
you can no longer fly and can not rise.

Death gives non occasion
you can not see and you can not taste
you can not love and you can not hate
and delight is courser of this strife.

Our bodies will be imprisoned
in dark and small cases and six feet under.
They spend their nights by the grave
they will go home the next day
to show how much they care
wouldn't you call them hypocrites?

And yes you might be rich
even richer than a king
and admirably schooled in every grace
you might have things to make us wish
we were in your place
you have all
you have power and authority
you have fame with no traceable blame
but you have not the power
to with hold death
for you took your last breath.

Life ended and all it's sweet ended
along with it's bitterness
and happiness
you rest in peace,eternal peace
without any stress.

If you are to go one day
and reach the final destination
let go of your fears
let go of your weariness
let go of your shame
for peace is coming your way
and even if you try to hold
those things not needed
you cannot because your body
will feel nothing and your souls empty.

And if your loved one is to go one day
don't grieve for him,for then he will be free
he will follow the path God lay for him
he will take his hand when he hears him call
he will surely be sorry if he will not look back
and leave it all
he might not stay another day
to laugh or to play
tasks and missions left undone must stay that way
if his leaving will leave pain
just try to smile with remains
of your fun and pleasant memories
because God wants him to be free
for he has finished his journey
and he needs to rest
for he believed he gave it his best.

No matter how scared we get at death
it is an inevitable destination
a final destination
which we have no choice but to encounter
the best we can do is try to make the best of it
and take it as God's plan to set us free.
