Shelby's POV
I woke up to the song "Do it now,remember it later" by Sleeping with Sirens playing from my phone which meant it was time to get up for school. I stopped my alarm and buried myself under my blanket because I really didn't wanna get up. After procrastinating for about 10-15 minutes I finally got out of bed. I walked downstairs and just quickly ate a bowl of cereal and grabbed some pop tarts to eat later. I went back to my room and looked for something to wear. I decided to wear black leggings,my red Kick Me SWS shirt and my favorite pair of combat boots and tie my red and black flannel around my waist. I put on my clothes and put my shoes aside to put them on later. I took my phone in the bathroom and charged it while I was fixing my hair and makeup because it didn't charge overnight. I played my music on shuffle and Heroine started playing and I really like that song so I decided to put it on repeat for a little bit. I started singing and dancing around while doing my makeup and I didn't notice the time. I looked at my phone and noticed that I was running a little late. I quickly put my shoes on and grabbed everything I needed and ran out the door just in time for the bus. I didn't say bye to my parents because they were still asleep so I didn't wanna bother them. I got on the bus and sat in the back seat and listened to my music and ignored everyone. No one ever talks to me on the bus so I just put my feet up and listen to my music. We got to school and I walked in to a certain part of the hallway to meet up with my friends. I saw them after a few minutes and they all came running up to me and we all had a group hug. After pulling back from the hug,one of my friends said "oooo Shelby you look pretty!" I smiled and said "thanks." We walked over the the cafeteria and got breakfast. I didn't eat since I already ate at home so I just got something to drink. After eating it was time to go to class. I had 1st period with one of my friends and the others all have different classes. When I got to class I sat down and put my headphones on and started listening to music. I played "Heroine" by Sleeping With Sirens,my favorite band and probably my favorite song. In the middle of class while I was doing my work,my stomach started cramping and hurting so bad. I asked my teacher if I could go go the nurse. She gave me a note and I walked down there and gave her my note. She checked my temperature and said I had a fever. She called my mom to come pick me up so I could go home and rest. After waiting for about 15-30 minutes my mom got here and she walked into the nurses and grabbed my backpack for me. We walked to the car and I climbed in the back seat and layed down. We got back home and I just put everything down and sat on the couch. My dad had already left for work and my mom said she was about to leave,so it was just gonna be me for the day. I turned on the tv and put it on YouTube and started watching videos. After about 20 minutes my mom said she was leaving. She checked my temperature and saw that it was 101. She kissed my forehead and said "I hope you get to feeling better soon..I love you." "I love you too," I said. She left and I just continued to watch YouTube. I texted my friends and told them I already left school due to not feeling good and one of them called me. I answered and said "girl you better get back to class." We talked for a few minutes and then she had to go before she got in trouble. I put my phone to the side and turned the tv off and got comfortable and took a nap.
