Love is like a lone firefly finding its mate, slowly flying in the cool spring breeze as the two universes collide, creating a beautiful collage of gold flashing in the dark, navy night sky.

Love is like a strawberry field in bloom, the magnificent colors of white and green and yellow blending together to create a swath of different feelings; happiness, excitement, and an almost overwhelming passion.

Love is like a butterfly coming out of its cocoon, blossoming into the world, waiting to see in the different and altered perspective of its new eyes, the wild smell of adventure in the crisp and fresh air.

Love is an exuberating and fantastic experience that not even I can explain in the right words. It is something that not everyone finds immediately, but when you do, it's as expected yet unexpected as the loud and brilliant fireworks on the Fourth of July, bursting with life and beauty and the hunger for more.

Love can end in heartbreak and grief and sadness, the pain of someone loved leaving your world for a significant amount of time, whether it's a minute or hour, week or year, it all hurts the same. The horrible ache in your chest never leaves, even when the person comes back because that sick feeling in your stomach is your soul screaming in agony, for the person that left you doesn't look the same.

Your body and mind don't know any better because when it is hurt, it screams, "Danger! Help! I'm hurt...Please help me." Even when that person says, 'I love you,' it will never be the same as before because your body learns. It learns that it can be hurt just as easily as it can do wrong. This is why love is so important and dangerous because if you fall in love with the wrong person, your body learns and you're never the same again.

Love is like waves on the ocean, they come and they go, forever stuck in the cycle of falling and picking itself back up again.

Love is like dying and living at the same time; you're stuck in a cycle of bliss and pain and destruction, never ending.
