Members of the Wayfarer's Lamppost Book Club are not required to be Next Big Recognition Contest members, and membership to this club will have a screening process separate from the NBR screening process.

Moreover, Wayfarer's Lamppost aims to provide what no other book club has done—feedback on character arcs and plot progression across the entire book.
