The Dream

I was walking through the park and saw him. He was right there. Cuter then ever.
"He's right there!" I screamed to myself. "Just go talk to him!"

I breathed in and out. Taking deep breathes trying not to pass out. "I can do this. Just stay calm, walk over and say hi. He's alone this time so he can't be pulled away by his friends."I let out one last breathe before walking over to him.

"Hi." I said.
"Hi" he said.
"My name is Chloe."
"Mine's Hayes. Nice to meet you Chloe." He said in the sweetest,most charming and soft voice I have ever heard. "So, do you want to take a walk and talk?" He says.
"Sure. I would love to." I replied.
"Follow me."
"Ok"
We walked into the woods by the park and to this pond. It was beautiful. There was an amazing meadow where the trees were gone and the light from the sun hit the meadow just right and it lit up a beautiful golden greenish brown from the grass and leaves.

"Oh. My. God. This is sooo BEAUTIFUL!" I screamed. "I mean. This is so beautiful and amazing." I said calming down after embarrassing myself 100 times over.

"You know. No one can hear us. And that means it is ok to yell." He said laughing.

"Oh. Sorry. I didn't know that."

"Why? You can yell. I didn't say you can't. What is there to be sorry about?" He said kind of confused.

"Oh nothing. Never mind." I said embarrassed again.

"Well anyway, wanna race?" He said excited.

"Sure, but prepare to loose." I said with confidence.

"No way. I'm way faster then you." He said even more confident then I was.

"Well, you know I am faster then all the guys at my school, and I beat the old school record for the fastest running time for the mile race. Even the record in school history!" I said with the most confidence I could. When I looked at him again his jaw was dropped and he was almost drooling.

"Well then. I guess I will have to double my hardest and fastest speed." He said trying to make me rethink my confidence. It didn't work.

"Let's just get started. From where to where?" I said.

"From that tree to..............the edge of the pond." He said like he knew he would win because it was near water.

"Done." I said.

"THREE...........TWO...............ONE!!" I screamed. We took off like lightning. He was in the lead, then I was, then he was, then I was and........."YES! WHOA!"

"CHLOE!"

"Uhhhhhhh, why does it have to end?" I said upset my dream is over and I have to go to school. Hayes and I go to the same school, but he never notices me. His friends always pull him away before he can even look in my direction. It is so annoying I can't deal with it. That's why to day I am going to the park and going to try to talk to him. If I have to I will yell his name so his stupid friends can't pull him away then so be it.
