Eleven Returns

Chapter One

Mike's POV
"ELEVEN" I woke up breathing heavily, i'd had another dream about El. "Mike. Mike. MIKE" i hear from my walkie talkie across the room. I get up slowly, and answer, " Dustin what do you want? i was trying to get some sleep." I say, "dude. its noon." "what?!" i scream, "i thought it was like 8.." "whatever, i need you too come over asap." "why?" i ask "because. Will has to tell us something, about eleven." frozen, i stop and stare, "mike, mike MIKE!" dustin screams "ill be right over." i say quietly, still shocked about what dustin had told me. I get up and put some shoes on, and a sweatshirt. I ran down the stairs as fast as i could, and yelled at my mom when i was leaving, "Mom ill be at Dustins ill be back in an hour". As i start to close the door out, i hear my mom say "Mike! come here i need to talk to you." I rolled my eyes and told my mom i needed to talk to Dustin. "Well i need to talk to you, so come here and sit down." "ughhh" i groan and sit down across the table from her. "are you ok? ever since Will was found, you have acted different." i thought of the last words eleven said, goodbye mike. "yeah i mean, its just different, for me." "what do you mean by, for you?" she asks. "Remember that girl, eleven?" i say. "yes. and i know that hit you hard because you guys were really good friends. but that cant be the reason you are acting so different." she says. "i knew you wouldnt understand.." i say. "mike, is there something you need to tell me?". "yes."i started tearing up as i said it, "Eleven, i didnt just like her as a friend, i liked her, more than a friend." i started full on crying at this point, "and then on the day that she went missing, before they took her, i kissed her. I asked her to the snowball, and she said yes. i promised her." i said as i was crying. "honey, im so sorry. i had no idea.." she said as she came over to me and hugged me as i cried.
