The Young Sky Pirate

Prologue

The Galactic ring. The space border that separated the trade routes from the monsters from deeps space. In this ring of bustling trade planets, there lay other worlds, inhabited by different species of civilian creatures, some good some bad.

For example you have the mining Rockgnomes that work in the quarries on Albersnat (a mining planet where Rockgnomes originate), who are as strong as twenty chaplings, but with a brain the size of a walnut.

Then the goblins. There are 45 different nations and races ranging from the battle crazy Scythegoblins to the tranquil Watergoblins, all species living in their own respective planets.

Aswell as the million of other races, there are the chaplings. These are long descendants of the original Humans, who lived on a now scorching Earth. It is from this people that the Sky Pirates come from.

Sky Pirates are the only ones that venture beyond the outer Galactic ring into deep space. They are the only ones who dare land on the unknown worlds. It is almost impossible to scrape a living in these uncharted areas, yet some do. It is between these scavengers, who often harvest the unique elements from thier planets, and the Sky Pirates that trade happens. Pirates bring modern technology from the Galactic ring to the deep space roamers who in turn trade their specialties with the Sky Pirates.

Even though the G.R.L (Galactic Ring Leagues) rely heavily on the Sky Pirates to bring these rare and unique goods, they hate them. They think they are outlaws and take every opportunity to mock and tease them.
