Invisible Star: Glee Season 6

Episode 1: A Quinn Fabrey.

"Jake!" I heard someone call me as I walked into school. I looked around, everything feels so foreign. No glee. No cheerios. This school is going to shit. 

"Hey, Ryder." I greeted my best friend as he approached me. We began chatting about football seeing as I'm thinking about joining since I don't have glee anymore. We were cut off by Kitty, Bree, and Mia who were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. 

"Have you seen Sydney?" Mia asked looking panicked. I looked at Ryder confused who just shrugged in response. 

"No, I haven't. Why?" I asked looking at them confused. She probably just isn't here yet. 

"She hasn't answered any of our text's all summer!" Kitty exclaimed looking completely lost. I furrowed my eyebrows. Come to think of it, she hasn't talked to me all summer either. Then again, I just assumed it was because we used to date. 

"Have you asked Declan or Max?" Ryder suggested looking slightly panicked now. They shook their heads no. So we all set out to look for Declan and Max. We found them waiting at Sydney's lockers talking. "Hey guys, have you seen Sydney?" 

"No, I assumed she was with you guys." Declan said now looking very concerned. Max looked like he was about to freak. "Hey, was she talking to any of you at all this summer? She wouldn't talk to me or Max." The girls all exchanged panicked looks before shaking their heads no. 

"The last text she sent me was 'I'm sorry for failing you all. I couldn't keep glee together. I'm sorry.' Then she wouldn't talk to me at all. All of my calls went straight to voicemail." Bree read off her phone before looking back up at us. I glanced to my right and saw Puck. 

"Puck!" I called him over making him turn to look at me. He smiled before walking over to me. 

"What's up, little bro?" Puck asked looking confused as to why we were all crowded around Sydney's locker. 

"We don't know what to do." I began before telling him about what's been going on and how we can't find Sydney. 

"Sounds like a Quinn Fabrey." Puck said when we gave him a confused look he began to explain before he was cut off by Principal Sue.

"If you're all looking for Sydney you're not going to find her here." Principal Sue said making us all exchange confused looks. "She transferred. To Carmel High." With that, she left leaving us all speechless. We need to talk to Mr. Shue. Like NOW. We rushed into Mr. Shue's Spanish room making him look over at us confused. He was in the middle of talking with a student so we had to wait. Once he was done we all rushed over to him and began talking at the same time.

"One at a time!" Mr. Shue exclaimed making us stop talking.

"Sydney isn't at school." Max said looking panicked. Mr. Shue looked confused.

"Well, she may be sick or running late." Mr. Shue said before going back to organizing things on his desk.

"No, she isn't going to be at school. She transferred to Carmel High." Declan said making Mr. Shue's eyes widen. 

"What? Why? Why would she transfer?" Mr. Shue asked looking panicked. We all looked around none of us knowing the answer. "Well, after school we will go to Sydney's house and talk to her." We all nodded and dispersed heading to our classes. God, I hope Sydney's okay. At the end of the day, we all met in the old choir room which is now a computer lab. "Did everyone check with their parents to make sure this was alright?" 

"Yes, Mr. Shue. We're not 12." Puck mumbled before grabbing his juice box from Quinn. I stifeled a laugh. My brother is such a child. We all got into our cars and headed to Sydney's house, when we got there though we were faced with another problem. 

"Oh, Sydney's not home. She stayed after school for something, I can't quite remember what it is...." Sydney's mom said trying to remember. Mr. Shue smiled and said a quick thank you to her and we were off to Carmel High to find Sydney. What we found shocked us. 

Sydney: "So your friend's been telling me You've been sleeping with my sweater And that you can't stop missing me Bet my friend's been telling you I'm not doing much better 'Cause I'm missing half of me." 

There, on stage with Vocal Adrenaline, stood Sydney. We watched as the members danced around her. The only thing that gave me hope that we didn't lose her, is that she didn't look happy. She looked out of place. If you were just a random person, you would think she looks completely normal up there, but we know her too well. She was faking. 

Vocal Adrenaline: "Only half a blue sky Kinda there but not quite I'm walking around with just one shoe I'm half a heart without you I'm half a man at best With half an arrow in my chest I miss everything we do I'm half a heart without you" 

I looked over at Marley who was looking at the scene in front of her shock written all over her face. She looked up at me and smiled slightly making me frown and look down at the ground. I know what you're thinking, what's your problem? Well, this summer, I was so bummed about Sydney not returning my calls or answering my texts that I had a thing with Marley. No, we didn't have sex, but that doesn't make me feel any less like I cheated on Sydney even though we aren't together. 

"We lost her, didn't we?" Calum said looking broken. Luke shook his head vigorously. 

"No, we can't lose her, especially not to them." Luke snapped making me look at him shocked. Then he began to sing. 

Luke: "Forget all we said that night No, it doesn't even matter 'Cause we both got split in two If you could spare an hour or so We'll go for lunch down by the river We can really talk it through!" 

Sydney turned and looked at him confused but then.....heart broken. Vocal Adrenaline stopped dancing and turned to watch everything unfold. I stepped forward and joined Luke. 

Jake and Luke: "And being here without you is like I'm waking up to Only half a blue sky Kinda there but not quite I'm walking around with just one shoe I'm half a heart without you I'm half a man at best With half an arrow in my chest 'Cause I miss everything we do I'm half a heart without you!" 

Sydney shook her head tears springing to her eyes as she watched us walk closer to her. 

Declan and Max: "Though I try to get you out of my head The truth is I got lost without you And since then I've been waking up to!" 

Tears began falling from her face when Declan and Max joined in. A group of Vocal Adrenaline members walked up behind Sydney standing there almost protectively. 

Guys: "Only half a blue sky Kinda there but not quite I'm walking around with just one shoe I'm half a heart without you I'm half a man at best With half an arrow in my chest I miss everything we do I'm half a heart without you. Without you, without you, half a heart without you" 

Jake: "Without you, without you, I'm half a heart without you"
