Sorry for the long wait. Been a bit busy with a lot. School was so pressuring and so are my parents along with the pressure of college stuff. Anyway here is a new chapter.

Ch. 8
The blackness took over everything. I really never expected for this to ever happen to me.
"Clarissa, Clarissa? Can you squeeze if you can hear me?"
I heard an unknown voice and reacted to what that voice.
"Can you try to open your eyes for me?"
I tried my hardest and finally got them to crack to see a doctor. I gave him a weird look.
"Do you know your name? What day it is? What your parents names are?"
"My name is Clarissa Kay Hendrickson it is January 5th and my parents names are Malina and Martin. I am supposed to be engaged to Markus Lee Widenick."
"Excuse me did you just say Markus Widenick?"
"Yes why?"
"Mam I think you should know that Markus is in a coma. He is in the next room over and it is not January 5th. You have been in a coma for a week or two. Your lucky you have memory. Your fiance might not be that lucky."
"Can I go see him please? I'll go in a wheelchair. Please?"
"You may see him as soon as I tell your parents you are awake. I'm sure if he hears your voice it could shake him and he might wake up with some memory of you."
"Thank you."
He left for a few minutes and then came back with my mom in a wheelchair and another one for me.
" Hey momma how you feeling?"
"I'm okay but I'm glad you are awake so I could see your beautiful eyes. You need to go see Markus."
I wheeled myself out of the room and stopped when I felt arms around me. I looked up to see my brother trying to push me so I didn't hurt myself.
"I'm glad your awake Rissa. I missed you so much. You don't even know. "
"Lan I know. I missed you too so much."
We finally got to Markus's door. I twisted the knob and peaked inside to see him laying there and his mom in the chair crying.
"Mrs. Widenick can I have a few minutes?"
"Sure sweety."
She left out of the room and I finally got to hold my baby's hand.
"Markus baby please wake up. I miss you so much it hurts. the way our lips touched and how you would kiss me. I miss your hugs and your natural scent. Please baby wake up. I need you. "
I sat there sobbing and my tears wet his hand. Please god don't take my baby. I need him. Then I felt something. I felt a weak squeeze to my hand.
"Markus, baby, are you waking up? Open your eyes and look at me. Let me see those pretty green eyes. Come on baby. Please I need you."
His eyes started to twitch. I knew that he wouldn't leave me this soon.
"Rissa Kay? Is that you?"
"Yes baby its me."
"Rissa Kay I love you."
"Oh baby I love you too. So much. Don't ever leave me again. I don't think I could do that again. Ever. Even though I just woke up from a coma I don't think I could ever see you lying on a hospital bed motionless."
"How long?"
"A week."
"I'm thirsty."
"Let me go and see if I can find the doctor or a nurse."
" Is there a nurse that can come in and check Markus Widenick? He is awake now and he is thirsty." I told the woman sitting at the nurses desk.
" Honey why didn't you press the nurse button instead of rolling your wheelchair such a long way?"
"I guess I didn't think about it."
I headed back to his room to watch him while we waited on a nurse to come in with some water.
"Rissa, I missed you so much."
"Oh I missed you too."
"Have they told you anything that is wrong with you?"
"The doctor didn't say anything just that I've been in a coma for a week or two."
"So does that mean you and I have woke up the same day almost at the same time?"
"Yeah I guess since you heard my voice you decided you wanted to wake up."
There was a slight knock on the door.
"Come in." We both said.
"Hello, I have you some water. Oh Miss Hendrickson do you need some water. I would be happy to go get it out of your room?"
"Yes please. I'm not really feeling too good right now so can you get me something for nausea?"
"I'll see what the doctor says and he should be in here soon to talk to you both."
"OK. Thank you."
"Oh Mr Widenick, how are you feeling?"
" I'm sore and my head is hurting."
"Ok Lana should be in here to give you some medicine. Miss Hendrickson will be the same."
She walked out and a few minutes later the doctor walked in.
"Mr Widenick, Miss Hendrickson the wreck you were in caused a lot of damage. Miss Hendrickson, you had some damage to your small intestines and broke two ribs. Mr Widenick, you broke a rib and you may have some brain damage and broke your leg."
"Well, I still have my memory which is a good thing."
"Same here. I'm happy we both have our memories so we can't forget each other."
Lana walked in right as the doctor was leaving.
"I have your nausea medicine Ms Hendrickson and I have your pain medicine Mr Widenick. Please on a scale of 1-10 what is your pain level?"
"I would say about a 7."
"OK well, seems we will be trying to get you down to your proper level. Oh and Ms Hendrickson is there a possibility you could be pregnant?"
"No mam. I'm definitely not pregnant. I'm well a um..."
"A virgin? Well that's a good thing."
Two days later
"You may leave now."
"Markus Widenick?"
"Yes sir?"
"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used in the court of la w....---"
"Wait what did he do officer?"
They just drove off without even explaining.
