Secrets

Chapter one

      Romeo and Juliet is always the famous love story told but no one has heard of something as magical yet so confusing as this before. We were all on the beach and it was the last summer before we all go to college. Derek and I were both accepted into Yale, Josh and Drake were both accepted into Michigan Sate for football.

     "Hey are you excited for Yale?" Josh asked as he looked over at me sitting by the water.

      "Yeah I just want more time with all of you."

     "So do I but we have all been offered the chance of a life time and I think we should all take it but who am I to judge, but hey Derek wants to talk to you at your spot."

      "Why? Did he tell you?"

      "No he said it was for your ears only, I will talk to you later okay?"

     "Yeah sure sounds good." I said as I walked to Derek and I's spot under the bridge in a rock cave we decorated a few months back.

     As soon as got to our spot he immediently stood up from one of those romantic candle lit picnic scenes in a movie.

     "Katy um...I wasnt sure you were going to come Josh said he would have you here at five."

     "Yeah we sort of got talking I guess."

     "Oh...Do you want to sit down?"

     "Sure." So I went over and sat down next to him on the blanket.

      "Hey."

      "Derek why are you acting like this and what is all of this?"

      "Okay so you know how a couple of years ago you decided to stay here instead of going back to New York?"

       "Yeah it was a pretty big decision huh and look where it got me."

      "I know and I am so happy for you and so excited we get to go to college togehter but that is why I have to tell you this now rather than later."

      "What are you secretly gay or have like another best friend or something?"

     "NO....I just have to tell you that since you moved here the reason I havent been seeing anyone is because I like you." There was a moment of silence..."Katy please say something I am feeling very nervous right now so I need to know what you think."

     "I mean where in this world did that come from? You knew I liked you when I got here but you WERE seeing someone else my enemy and I forgave you for that then you broke up with her when I liked your brother now that I have matured and called it off with your brother you think it is okay to swoop in and tell me you like me?"

     "I was always confused I never truly knew what I wanted but now I know it is you it always was you and always will be if you just give me a chance."

     "Derek." I said as I laid back on the blanket, he grabbed my hands pulling me up with him as he urged on with a dance to my favorite country song build this love. He gently placed his hand on my face turning me toward him.

      "Katy?" He said as he was asking permission. In that moment all my feelings returned I noticed I did like him to. He leaned in and suddenly I didn't stop him. He kissed me with much force and passion I kissed back. He traced my cheek bone down passed my shoulder to my back pulling me on his lap moving his hands down to my butt, grinding against me. He laid me on my back moving his hands to my waist then up to my breasts, I let out a small chuckle as he repeated. "Is this okay?"
