She was glad to be moving to London for college. She was looking forward to leaving home, sure she would miss her family but she knew she was better off alone.
Her friends didn't see it the same way she did, they though she was just naive, or a fool for looking forward to being away from her friends, her family, her home.
She was just glad for her new beginning, her new world.
The thing about new beginnings though is that they required something else to end.
The "something" that would be ending would be her relationships with her so-called "friends", they weren't her friends, she never truly trusted them, she tried but she failed for people kept disappointing her.
Ellie didn't know what the future had in store for her, she was just glad to be leaving, leaving her loving family, her house that didn't feel like a home and her past.
