Paul stopped and put his kick stand down, so did Marko and Dwayne.

"Okay, Laddie you go with Iris, me and the guys are going to have some fun." Dwayne said with a smirk.

I hopped off Paul's bike and asked, "Do any of you know why David held Star behind?"

"Maybe it was because he was afraid of Marko doing something, you know how his dick is." Dwayne teased, lifting up his index finger.

Paul andn Dwayne laughed but Marko didn't take it funny but he smiled, "No I am serious you guys do you know?" I asked.

They all shook their heads, "Okay well lets go Laddie." i said.

Laddie had his long brown hair down, he some times looked like a girl but he was still sweet as ever. He was supposed to be Star's first feed but she never killed him, instead she accidently changed him. Star and Laddie are not full vampires like David, Paul, Marko, Dwayne, and I.

I really didn't have a choice, David said he changed me right after he was changed. I'm surprised he didn't kill me, then he threw me in a dungeon cell and left me there for a month or so. He finally came down to let me out, but a human was standing behind him, a human girl. The thirst in me was too strong, and not knowing what the hell I was yet or how to hold the hunger in. I killed her.

Then David changed Dwayne, then Paul. Paul changed Marko because they were friends when they were both human and Marko had cancer. David changed Star, and Star changed Laddie. A long family tree, right?

I grabbed Laddie, lifted him on to my shoulders and continued to walk to the comic store where I had saw that boy that won't leave my mind.

There was a good crowd on the boardwalk today, so I had to push through a little but it wasn't like I had to push with my all my strength. I wondered what this kid would be like, what his name will be, would he care if he knew I was a vampire? Wait, What? No, I won't let it go that far, I mean I am with Paul why would I think......'I sighed' I just need to know his name or know something about him then leave it be.

I set Laddie down, and he ran into the comic store; boys and comics are like girls and bras, they need it. Laddie ran passed a boy, who must've worked here because he was carrying boxes full of books.

"Whoa, slow down sport!" the boy exclaimed. He had a square face, a deep voice for his age, wore a plad long sleeve that hung open with a white tag top under neath. He also had a red ban dana wrapped around his brown shaggy hair.

Laddie turned to face him and laughed, stopping for me to catch up. His laugh was so cute it made me want to squeeze him.

The boy laugh, it was a low chuckle. I walked into the store, it was bright but not sunlight; there were comics and peace signs all over. I saw in the corner a man was passed out, a hippie. There was a song playing, I listened more closely; "Laying Down the Law" I love it.

The boy with the box of comics and a deep voice was having a staring contest with Laddie. Laddie was smiling evilishly, he knew he was going to win because he didn't need to blink, he was half dead.

I heard a defeated groan come out of the boy as he lost, Laddie laughed then saw me come in. "Iris! I beat him!"

The boy looked at me and was stiff. I smiled at Laddie ignoring the boy's stunned face, "Good job, Lad, you are going to be the champion of the world."

"Yeah!" he exclaimed and went to look for a comic.

I was about to follow him but then the who was playing with Laddie stopped me, "Hey, I'm Edgar Frog." he said, holding out his hand in gesture for mine.
