once upon a time in the hidden part of a country called gotham, a handsome young prince named Damian lived in a beautiful castle. although he had everything his heart desired, he was selfish and unkind.
the prince was getting ready for the party he was hosting. he was dressed in black and gold armor with a red cape and black pants with his finest boots(think of Damion outfit in the son of batman). his hair was slicked back and he had a beautiful black and gold mask.
"master its time." a servant named alfred pennyworth said showing him his pocket watch to show him the time. the prince looked at him and sent him away and looked at his reflection one last time before walking down to his party.
he taxed the village to fill his castle with the most beautiful objects, and his party's with the most beautiful people.
the prince snapped and the harpsichord player, Dick Grayson begins to play. the lady's bowed in front of the prince while he sat in his throne.they all wear dressed in black. then the prince got up as the lady's begins to dance and he starts dances with them as the dick's wife Starfire who's dress was different then there begins to sing.

Damian angrily grabs the candle stick from another servant named Garfield Logan and runs to see who dares to interrupt his party.
then one night an unexpected intruder arrived at the castle seeking shelter from the bitter storm.
the old women walked to the middle of the ballroom and looked up at the prince.
As a gift she offered the prince a single rose.
he laughed in her face at her offer and turns to look at the lady's with a 'do you believe this old hag?!' look on his face and the girls begin to laugh as well. he turned to the lady and took the rose sneered at it and threw it to the ground.
Repulsed at her haggard looks , the prince turned the old women away. but old woman warned him not to be deceived by appearances for beauty is found within.
The old women picked up the rose and begins to glow, everyone steps back in suprise and fear.
when he dismissed her a second time the old women's outwards appearance melted away. and reviled the beautiful sorceress named zatanna.

The prince feel to his knees as everyone ran away and started to beg for forgiveness. as that was happening a little girl named Lucy ran into the sea of people . "Lucy!" her mother Harley cried out and grabbed a hold of her girl and looked at the sorceress in awe and fear.
the prince begged for forgiveness but she has seen that there is no love in his heart. As punishment she turned him into a hideous beast, and placed a powerful spell on the castle and all who lived there.
the prince cried out in pain as he turned into a beast. as the remaining servants looked at him in horror as the prince gave a monsterus roar and scratches a panting of himself with his large claws.

as days blurred into years the prince and his servants were soon forgotten by the world for zatanna erased all memory of them from the minds from the people they loved. but the rose she offered was truly an magical rose if he could learn to love another and earn there love in return before the last petal falls the spell would he broken. if not he would be doomed to be a beast for all time. as the years passed he fell into despair and lost all hope. for who could ever learn to love a beast?
