"Blu please don't leave me" my little sister begged
"Lily, I'm sorry but I have to go. I can't stay here anymore you know that. Your dad doesn't like me" I told my 6 year old sister while packing my things in my truck
"But what about mom?!" Lily cried
"Mom doesn't care anymore Lily!" I snapped. My older step brother Lucas walked out and pulled Lily back. I packed everything in and shut the door. I looked up the window to see my mother and Gregory standing there. She had the nerve to wave goodbye. I ignored her and faced Lily. The only person I actually liked here.
"You can call me whenever you want. I'm not that far away. We can always hang out" I hugged her goodbye while she cried on my shoulder. I let her go and wiped her tears. I walked to the driver side but before I could open the car door. I was pulled into a tight hug.
"Goodbye" it was Lucas. I don't know what was more shocking the fact that he just hugged me or he talked to me. In all my years of living here which was 6 years he's never spoken a word to me. After a long hug he finally let me go.
"Just a phone call away right?" He asked smiling.
I was so shocked I just nodded. I hopped in my car and waved goodbye one last time and drove to my new place which was about 15 minutes away.
I finally arrived at my new house. I pulled in the driveway and began to unload the back.
"So I'm guessing you're our new roommate!" I jumped turning around coming face to chest with 2 chests to be exact
"Hello. I'm Sebastian, we talked over to phone" he smiled down at me. I had to take 2 steps back to really look at his face. He had the cutest nose and freckles all over his face and he had the prettiest blue eyes. His brown hair looked so soft I could run my fingers through it.
"I am Samuel" the guy beside him said extending his hand I shook his hand taking in his features. He had black hair. He was also very pale. He had gray eyes which surprised me because I've never seen such a thing in my whole entire life. He wore black rimmed glasses.
"Hello roomies. I'm Blu" the moment 'roomies' left my mouth I wanted to punch myself. It sounded so corny. They started grabbing boxes and taking it inside. I'm already liking these boys. After they were done we went inside. My phone started ringing. I checked the caller ID but it was an unknown number but I picked up anyway
"Hello?" I spoke into the phone
"Blu it's me Lucas. Can we meet up and talk like now it's important?!" He whispered. It's crazy how I didn't even have his number saved in my phone but then again we never spoke to each other
"Sure I'll send you my address" I said then hung up. I quickly sent him the address. He responded saying 'be there in 15 minutes'. In the mean time I began to unpack my stuff
"Blu there is someone here for you!" Sebastian shouted
"Let him in!" I yelled back. Lucas walked in my room accompanied with Samuel and Sebastian. Lucas came and sat beside me. I was waiting for Samuel and Sebastian to leave but they weren't moving.
"Sebastian and Samuel this is my step brother Lucas. Lucas these are my roommates Sebastian and Samuel." I introduced them. They said hello and they both left. Lucas turned his body towards me. Oh no I knew this is serious. The last time someone turned their entire body to look at me was my mom and she told me I had to leave because of Gregory
"I'm really sorry Blu. I've been completely awful to you and you haven't done anything wrong. I wish I could take back all those years of not speaking to you. My father had convinced me the day you and your mom moved in that you were a horrible girl and you didn't deserve to be happy and he complained about you ruining his life and I was mad at you for doing that. I began to blame you and your mom for ruining my family and I just hated you. But I was freaking stupid to listen to him. My father is an awful man. As I got older I began to realize that. And I'm sorry. I don't hate you anymore and I wished I never did" he said and he started crying. I quickly pulled him in for a hug.
"Lucas it's alright." I hugged him tighter
"It's crazy because I'm the older one meaning I have to act strong" he chuckled a little
"Shut up Lucas you're older than me by 3 days" I laughed pulling away. He quickly held onto me
"Wait just a little longer, please" he whispered. I smiled holding him tighter. This is the first time he has every spoken a lot to me. At one point I thought he was mute. He finally pulled away and quickly wiped his tears.
"Blu if it's alright with you, can we hang out sometimes?" He asked quietly
"Of course" I smiled
"I should probably get back dad doesn't know I'm here" he said getting up. I walked him to the front door and hugged him goodbye.
