The wind rushed past the train's open window, the breaze hitting her face as next to her laid her slumbering cat who was curled up in the carrier. She had recently moved from the Midwest to the deep south in search of a fresh start and maybe a better place to practice her daily magic and meditation. A small town that seemed promising had caught her eye when she was looking for a new place to maybe bring herself up as a person. Maybe even open her own shop there to attract locals and vistors alike. After all, she was fresh outnof college and looking for a new place to set her roots.
She turned to look at her cat, a black abd white patterened female who had striking yellow eyes and a pink collar with a soft sounding bell. After all the sneaky cat could get under foot and trip if it wasnt for the bell. She was thankful for how calm the cat was during travel, made her feel as if she wasnt the center of attention unlike her other cat who was spending time at her mothers who normally cried during these long trips.
She gave soft sigh as she ran her fingers through her short cut hair that for some reason always found itself a mess if she barely had a breeze on her. Her eyes focusing again on the outdoors that zoomed past her swiftly, the occational home or tree would catch her eye as it passed her. Already she knew the locals would be tight knit if there were only these few houses.

The train came to a stop as the small jolt woke her from a nap. Didn't matter how awake she was, she always fell asleep on long trips. Standing up and getting the duffle bag at the top rack and her cat carrier in her seat, she made her way to the exit of the train with a slightly tired look. As the main ticket boy waved her goodbye and have a safe trip, she returned the wave and stepped off. Already she felt her new begining starting sooner than she thought.

As the walk to her new home was tiring, she already missed the taxi service of Chicago, her bags had made her back ache worse than college did. But none the less as she dug in her pocket for the key, she pulled it out and unlocked the small home she had rented out. When the door opened, she was surprised seeing how it almost looked like someone just packed up the main things and left the house. Well at least that was less things to have to request the movers to bring her from storage her mother gave her.
She set down the carrier and opened it to let the cat roam the place. The old cat already finding her spot on the old fashioned floral couch, the young woman smiled as she then walked to the room just right down the hall, the small room had a used matress on the middle on a wooden bed frame. All the room lacked was a bed dress, a dresser, and curtains. Making a mental check list, she set the bag down on the bed and walked to the kitchen. Mostly bare of the dishware but had a four burner stove and a medium size fridge with freezer. Smiling as she then took a deep breath through her nose, she walked to the couch to join her cat who was purring softly.
"So kow...this is the new place! Can't wait to get the other two cats and the rest of the stuff from storage. Then we could finally start working on making this home ours!" She said as the cat tiredly looked up to the woman then laid its head back down in disinterest. The woman simply chuckled, even the cat knew getting this place would take more than that.
