Hi, my name is Maddy short for Madeline. I'm 17 years old and yet have not gone outside. Its not that I chose to never go outside the thing is I can't. My mom says that I was born with a disease called severe combined immunodeficiency also known as SCID. That big huge word pretty much means my immune system sucks. In all peoples body's there are little particles called lymphocytes. Lymphocytes are little tiny particles that are really good at fighting off germs but me on the other hand I have less lymphocytes so my body has a harder time fighting off viruses and there are so many germs outside I can't go out there. Me and mom lost my dad and brother in a car accident a while back that's the same time my mom found out I was sick with SCID. My mom is also a nurse which comes in handy for a kid with SCID. My house is like Alcatraz but there is a way in and a way out so I guess its nothing like Alcatraz. Obviously I can't go to school and my mom doesn't trust homeschooling so I take online classes. I have books loads and loads of books. And my mom and nurse are usually the ones who spoil me rotten with all of my books. A hobby of mine is when I read a book I write a report on that book. There is a moving trunk outside I'm guessing we have a new set of neighbors.
