My eyes flutter open to the sound of my brothers precious car alarm ringing through the air. I turn towards my bedside table and rub the sleep out of my eyes only to realize it was only 5 in the morning.

"Perfect timing Tyler" I mumble under my breathe.

It's the last week of my senior year and summer is right around the corner. Might as well make the best of this situation and make myself look presentable. Stepping into the shower, I'm hit with the warm water and start to sing quietly, or what I thought was being quiet to myself.

"Shut up Scar- oof" muffled through the door as he falls.

I chuckle quietly and turn the water off, securing my towel around me and stepping from the bathroom into my room. I put on the outfit that I carefully laid out the night before and slump down into my vanity chair. I applied my basic makeup look which never failed my expectations. Then i grab my bag, slinging it over my should and taking the steps two at a time, finding myself in the kitchen. Turning the blender on, I make two strawberry banana smoothies, one for me and one for Tyler. Finally, grabbing an apple and hopping up onto the counter to wait for my brother.

"Hurry your ass up Tyler"

"Don't get your panties in a twist Scar. I'll be right down" effectively gaining a groan from me and a laugh from my asshole of an older brother.

He finally comes downstairs and grabs the smoothie with his car keys already dangling from his wrist. So I hop off the counter and we are out the door. Starting up his car, we back down the driveway and he sped towards my school as to not make me late again. He slows considerably as he pulls towards the front and I hop out as I see Jules wave for me to come over.

"Hey, you were almost late"

"I live for the adrenaline rush that being late brings Jules. You should know that by now if you were truly my best friends"

"Oh shut up. Lets go grab your math book" she says laughing a little bit.

We stop by my locker as the bell rings to tell us to get to class. We walk into Mr. Walkers class right as the late bell rings.

"Saved by the bell,  aren't we Mr. Walker" I say with a smirk

"Get to your seats ladies or I'll write you up"

The class snickers as we seat ourselves towards the back of the class.
Following along with the review of the year, we take a few notes and have a review passed out for the final test on Friday. I think that I dozed off sometime during the period because I wake up to the sound of the bell. The rest of the day passes by with ease and I'm putting my books back into my locker and grabbing my phone to ask Tyler where he is. Lucky for me, I hear the honk of his horn and I sigh in relief, hopping into his car.

"Hey Scar. Mind if we stop for some food before we go home?"

"I thought you'd never ask. Taco Bell?"

"You know it." He says as we both snicker slightly.

We finally find ourselves walking through the door 30 minutes later with a 12-pack of tacos for dinner to relieve a little bit of moms stress.

"Hey Mom. We brought dinner" we yell simultaneously up the stairs

"Thank you kids"
