prologue

Jason's pov

It was just a normal day Jason thought. Nothing different than all the other normal days. But, maybe this wasn't a normal day. Maybe this day was a chance. A chance to finally get the girl of his dreams. Every day Jason hoped for a chance and every day, at the end of the day, he was dissapointed. But this day, this day would be different. This day...

"How was your weekend?" I hear. I don't answer, scared to loose my focus on Polly. There was something so special about this girl, I just can't take my eyes off her. "Hey dude. What are you doing?" Chuck's voice this time. I loose my focus and turn to them again. "What?" I say dreamy. "Jeez Jay" Reggie says while he sighs. I open my mouth to say something but at that moment teh schoolbell rang. "Well see you later Blossom." Chuck says. "Yeah..." I say back, lookin at Polly again. "Fuck, Maths..." I mumble as I already see the teacher. "I know right?!" I hear and look up to see Polly. She had to prettiest smile ever. Her eyes as blue as the ocean. She laughed. "Yeah, I hate it" I  say a little uncomfotable. "By the way, you did a great job at the game Friday!" She says and walks to the classroom with me following her. "Really? T-thanks" I say. I feel the blood coming to my cheeks as they turn red. Well done Blossom, you're a softie. I think,no I say it no I tought it right? Yeah.  So school went by fast. I walk to my locker and take some books. I close my locker and see Polly standing in front of me. "Hey, can I help you?" I ask. "No, I just wondered if you wanna go to Pop's with me, for a milkshake or something?" She asked looking down. She is shy. I can see it. It looks cute, her red cheeks and that smile. "Y-yeah sure..." I say shyly. I close my locker and walk with Polly to pop's. It feels weird. Polly and I haven't really talked. Exept for those small talks you make with everyone. Maybe, I finally got a chance. I start to think. What if Polly likes me back? And so we walk in silence. It wasn't uncomfortable. Untill I see the lights from Pop's. "Here we are!" She says nervously. We walk to a booth and order some milkshakes. "So..." I say rubbing the back of my neck. I look into Polly's blue eyes and smile. "Let me get straight to the point." Polly says looking down. "O-okay..." I say and look at her. "I like you..." She says looking up again.

Boom. His heart skipped a beat. A million thougths pop up in his head. This was the start of something beautiful he thought. But only a few people knew. This was dark. This love was impossible. If only Jason knew...
