Today is the day. The day I finally graduate! This is one of the best days of my life! As I stood with my cap and gown, waiting to receive my diploma, I scanned the audience looking for my parents. After sifting through several thousand people, I found my parents. My mom was crying tears of joy, and my father simply nodded, as if saying "I'm proud of you, son." If only Mabel was still here. She dropped out of college and went to Trade school to improve her knitting and entrepreneurial skills. Her lifelong dream is to have her own sweater store.

"Dipper Pines." I heard my name being called by the registrar. I walked up to the stage where I was handed my diploma. I smiled, thanked the registrar, and shook his hand. I proceeded to walk off stage, the names of fellow graduates being echoed around me.

Afterwards, I met up with my parents. "I'm so proud of you, Dipper!" My mom said to me. "So, what's on your agenda next, son? My dad asked. "I have to fulfill a promise I made four years ago. I'm heading to Gravity Falls!" I proclaimed. "Whatever you do, we just want you to know we're very proud of you." My mom gave me a big hug. "Mom, you're... Crushing me..." I gasped for air. She let go, allowing me to take a deep breath. "I guess this is goodbye." I said, sighing. They both nod, and we go our separate ways. "We love you!" My parents shouted as I stepped into my car. "I love you, too!" I shouted as I drove away.

Gravity Falls was only a short ride from the college, so I got on the open road and made haste for my destination. "I can't wait to see Wendy again." I thought to myself. "I wonder how she's been." I had taken off my gown, revealing a red flannel with a white undershirt, and a pair of skinny jeans. I reached into the back seat and put on my fur hat. Well, it was technically Wendy's but we traded them during our first summer together.

"Now entering Gravity Falls", I read out loud as I drove past the famous sign. Suddenly, I got a phone call. I picked up, and heard a familiar voice... "Hey, Bro-Bro! Long time, no... Uh... Talk!" It was Mabel's. "Hey, Mabel! It's been a while! How's trade school?" I asked. "It's going great! How was your graduation?" She asked with the probing curiosity I knew too well. "It was great. Mom and Dad are really proud, and they wished you were there." I told her. "I wish I could be there, too, but I've been SUPER busy with school. Where ya heading now?" She changed the subject. "To the ol' shack to fulfill a long-time promise." I stated calmly. "Oh-okay, see ya soon, Dip!" She said, and then hung up.
