Waking up in the middle of morning where the sun hasn't made its grand appearance was good news to your eyes. Honestly, you don't want to wake with all the rays from the sunlight to scream at you. You just want to sleep in and roll away from them. Because curse the sun. It hurts your eyes more than your time to get up from the sweet comfort of the mattress and its partner, blanket.

The brain decided to whack your eyes up and your muscles, asking you to wake from the tenth time.

You have plans today. Moving to Jasper was a new chapter in your life, along to be free from responsibilities and questions to life. Your parents were busy with their business trips while your eldest sister was the heir for the family business. Being a middle child has its ups and downs. You don't want to live like a royalty but to have a normal life.

The car you used was a white Ford Focus RS with red and blue stripes. A car that your dad gave you. You didn't complain about it. Some of your cousins have the latest Sports car and they would boast about it.

Learning how to drive wasn't required in your family. They would tasked drivers to do it but you were different. You wanted to learn. Learn the rules and the tricks of the road. The good thing, you passed with flying colours and you didn't have to bribe the examiner.

Speaking about roads, you put that last of your stuff into the backseat of the car. Your mind did a checking list on what's missing or who's left. Once it was done, you entered the driver seat and turn on the car. Leaving the Manor, you didn't bother to turn back and cry but instead, you said your farewell to the workers. The maids, guards and butler. They liked you and they were your true friend. You already witness the normal life when one of the guards, their kids invited you to join them.

It was an adventure.

Drumming your fingers on the steering wheel, you sang the song that the radio - which was connected to your phone via Bluetooth - played by. Making the trip to be fun. The song was called; Don't Stop Moving by S Club 7. "...Don't stop movin'... Can you feel the music..."

The place, your new home, was the same as the residents of the town. Small but, it was enough. The drive to Jasper was a two day trip. You've meet interesting people who shared some of their story to you. They didn't mind you. You blend in well and had listened.

[ "DJ's got u going around, 'round," ]

Mrs. Hopkins, the old bartender always nag on how kids these days aren't gratitude on what their parents gave them. The biker who look like he can beat you was a gentle giant. He nicknamed himself, Teddy. That guy was on a mission to learn how to knit. His gang tag along because they were searching gifts for their lovers.

[ "Don't stop movin'," ]

The drive exhausted you. When you saw the signboard, you did a dance in your mind. Using the GPS, it guided you to your new life. The house was furnished when you entered from the garage. Being the young adult, you had to find a job to pay the bills and the rent.

[ "Find you own way to it," ]

"Do you need help?" asked a boy. He had brown hair, glasses and by the looks of it. He's your neighbour. He probably saw you taking out the box from the seat. The song was ending, you were busy having a dance off in your mind.

[ "Taking you to places that you've never been before," ]

You shifted your arms. "Ah, yes!" By the now, the song had changed to another one.

He then approached you and you gave him the light box. The heavy boxes are in the living room. So the light and small ones are left.

"I'm Rafael." He walked next to you.

You send him a smile. "I'm (Name)." Both of you went inside and you instruct him to put the box on the dining chair.

"Thanks Rafael." You enter the kitchen. "Want anything to drink?"

Rafael shook his head. "No thank you but thanks anyway."

"No problem." You proceed to drink a bottle of water and take a few gulps of it. The cool liquid soothed your throat and yourself.

"But, thanks for helping me out, neighbour." Rafael sent a grin.

"Your welcome, neighbour."

Turns out, the boy studied at the school here. He has made friends and has a car that would sent and fetch from school. His mother was an energetic person, always going to your house to invite you for lunch and dinner. You had learn some cooking tips from the chef back at your house and thankfully, your skills had told her that you can take care of yourself. Raf think of you as a big sister figure since he's the only kid in his house.

His friends, Jack and Miko was great. You meet them a few times when you passed by the school. By using a skateboard. Vincent, was the school bully and he would flirt with you. You ignored his comments and walk away. To be honest, he was irritating you. Jack could see how your face scrunched up in anger before putting a mask of happiness.

As for jobs, you found a job you like. A librarian at the local library. The pay check was sufficient and books was your heaven to go. Plus, hardcover and thick books make great weapons to throw at.

"Let's hope all the best." You silently prayed to yourself. "That this new place is my new life."
