Another Dimension

Lily Rose

   The  garden was extraordinary to Lily Rose, she remembers always being out  here when she was a child.

The flowers grew beautifully, her mother and  herself would watch the midnight flowers bloom each year on her birthday.

Last night was the perfect night. Her mother woke her from her slumber  and took her to the garden. They watched the midnight flowers slowly  bloom and her mother whispered "Happy Birthday."

She did this every year but this year is very special.

"Lily Rose." Said a voice interrupting her thoughts.

      Lily looked over her shoulder to see Ash standing in the doorway. Ash  is her eldest brother, he will soon to be king but Ash isn't like her in  anyway. He looks more like their father. He was a muscular man but his face  was thin and diamond shaped. His hair curly dirty blonde hair looked like a  halo on his head and his cobalt blue eyes reminded Lily of the dark lake by the woods.

Lily's long pale hair had brown streaks and her soft brown eyes were just like her mother's. The only thing that reminded them that they're siblings is their small thin nose.

"Lily Rose, Mother wants to see you in the study." said Ash before walking away.

    Lily rises and follows after her brother in the doorway. She loves the hallways, every hallway is different, unique and artistic; the  hall to the library was her absolute favorite. There was nothing but delicate paintings on the wall; velvet curtains, tiffany crystal windows and oak. What she loved most is her favorite painting  of Vincent Van Gogh, the artist her father told her about and loved so incredibly-Starry night over the Rhone-is the painting herself and father is in love with.

The hallway to the study was more plain than the others. The walls were a plain beige, the curtains was blood red-there was no artwork on the walls or any flowers.

She loves the wood on the study but not as much as the library's. The horses looked realistic on the beautiful oak of the door; her father got it specially made to make his baby girl feel at home. The doors to the study the same oak but was delicately made into mocking birds flying along the wood.

When  she reached the study, Lily knocks softly on the door.

"Come in sweetheart." called her mother.

    Lily opened the door carefully and stepped inside. She closes the door  behind her gently and stands before her mother. The queen smiled  softly at her daughter, she has the same delicateness.

Lily curtsies and says with a smile. "Queen Violet." 

The Queen smiles brightly at her daughter.

"Princess Lily Rose. Today is your eighteenth birthday, now you are able to visit different dimensions. Whichever you please."

     Lily smiles brightly-majority of her life she's been dreaming of going to other dimension-her heart leaped in her chest from excitement and clasps her hand together.

"Thank you! Thank you so much Mama!" she says.  Lily hugs her mother tightly, forgetting her manners and training  she runs out of the study closing the door shut behind her.

      Ash was waiting in the hallway by the study. He smiled his brotherly smile.

"Get ready, me and Jasmine are  taking you to party."

Jasmine was Ash's vampire friend, she was always  nice to Lily ever since they were children. Majority of the time  it's Jasmine who watches over her instead of Ash; Jasmine is more like   Lily's body guard but she doesn't like to think that way about  Jasmine. Lily finds Jasmine more fun than her big brother anyway  because usually Ash keeps to himself.
