It was a televised talent contest
Even with one leg the young lady still wanted to be her best
It was determination in her efforts of try
She definitely wasn’t going to stand there and cry
It all started when she fell into a large deep hold
The young lady’s leg was stuck underneath
So to get the young lady out
They had to cut in order to move about
Her pain was a big shout
So that was her past
The young lady’s true tomorrow arrived at last
Dance the young lady did
One leg is all she had
But the lady was determined and not mad
She didn’t feel sorry for herself
The young lady wasn’t going to be like anybody else
The lady danced in several positions, and even went down to the floor
The audience applauded in her galore
The Judge’s faced seemed impressed
But this is a talent competition more or less
All the best to the one leg lady
Determination to preserver and with courage too denounce fear.
