When You Tell Him The News For The Second Time (With The Twins)

I saw Levi from a far distance and when he heard my call, he looked at me and walked through the crowd to approach me.

Once he made it, he hugged me and the twins saying, "Finally, I was wondering you guys are. Tch, I can't believe it's crowded outside the mess hall again".

"Yeah, but don't worry! Since we're complete, let's get through the crowd together!", I said and all of us took each other's hands.

I was holding Levi's and Leon's hand while Levi held my hand and Isabelle's hand.

"Yay, I can't wait what's for dinner tonight!", said the twins in sync and their voices were filled joy and excitement.

Levi seemed to notice this and slightly raised a brow as he watched the twin's behavior.

"Hmm, both of you seemed really excited. Did something happened while I was busy?", Levi questioned Leon and Isabelle.

Both of the twins gasped and shook their heads as they giggled adorably.

"Hehe, maybe?", both of them teased their own father.

Levi was still curious but he shrugged until we made it inside the mess hall.

Once we did, we found our usual table unoccupied so the four of us dashed towards it.

"We made it!", said Leon and all of us sat down at the same time.

Levi and I sighed at the same time as we sat and before I could say something to him, I started to smell delicious food and made me crave.

"Honey, I'll be back!", I said and kissed Levi's cheek, "I'm going to get some food for the four of us! Aggh, I can't help but crave!".

Levi's eyes widened from my unexpected response and just when he was about to ask why, I was already gone from the table.

"Eh? Sweetheart?", Levi mumbled and sighed afterwards.

The twins, however, giggled at their own father and watched me as I ordered food for the whole family.

"Odd, your mother is started to crave for food and acting strangely today. Not just today but for the whole week. What's up with her?", Levi pondered and fixed his black raven bangs.

"Hmm, I wonder", said Leon.

"Yeah, Leon. Me too", said Isabelle as she chuckled cutely.

Levi's eyes were looking at his own children and he seemed to be rather suspicious of their actions.

"Hmm, is there something you want to tell me, Isabelle and Leon?", Levi questioned, "It's seems like both of you are hiding something".

The twins jumped from their seats and gulped at the same time as they looked at Levi.

"N-Not really but uh...OH! Mom's back!"

Leon wiped his forehead with relief as I arrived back in the table with the tray of food.

"Okay, dinner's here! Here's Leon's...Isabelle's...Levi's...and mine!"

Levi's eyes widened when he saw my dinner which is two drumstick chickens with gravy, mushroom soup, bread and sour fruits with one glass of iced-tea.

"Eh? Honey, that's your dinner?", Levi asked and looked at my food, "You weren't kidding when you said you're craving".

The twins were also astonished when they saw how much food I got and here I am, just giggling to myself like a kid.

"Yep, especially the sour fruits, I've been dying to eat this!", I said and clasped my hands together before grabbing my utensils.

Levi was confused and still didn't get what's happening while the three of us on the other hand, are silently hoping that he would get the picture but sadly no.

"Mom, did he take the hint yet?", Leon mouthed to me while Isabelle shifted her eyes to me and back to Levi.

I gave them a I'm-not-so-sure-about-that look and watched Levi as he started drinking his tea.

'Come on, Levi. Hmm, what should I do-'

Just when I was about to come up with an idea, one of the twins spoke and it left me speechless yet amusing.

"Hey, dad! If we have a new sibling, what name would it be?", said Isabelle curiously in a cute way.

Levi almost spit out his own black tea upon hearing that question and boy, he was speechless too and his face started to turn a bit pink.

"O-Oh, that? Well, your mother and I haven't thought about it yet. Why are you asking that all of a sudden-"

Then that's when realization hit him.

He placed a finger on his chin and recollected the events that is happening for the whole week. 

Then finally, his eyes widened slowly as he looked at me again.

"(Y/N)...are you...", he said but stopped there and looked unsure for just a second.

The three of us giggled and as I scooted closer to him, I said in a sweet but hesitant voice, "I...I'm pregnant again, Levi".

He gasped and his expression was unique and filled with surprise. He covered his mouth for a few seconds then later on, he hugged me tightly.

"I can't believe it, we're having another child in the family", he said and a smile was curling in his lips as he held me tight while the kids are happy to us holding each other like this.

"Hehe, are you happy, Levi?", I questioned and hugged him back.

"Tch, of course I am. Having another member is quite an amusing experience, but it's going to be a challenge for the both of us", he said and kissed my cheek.

"As long as we can support each other, our family would have a strong bond and long lasting. Right, Levi?", I said and cupped his face.

He looked like he wanted to cry even though he's wearing such a stoic expression but I know deep down that he's very happy.

"Of course, my love", he said softly and leaned in for a kiss.

The twins cheered but not just the them, the whole mess hall must have heard it and started cheering along.

Levi and I let go of each other with surprise as we are surrounded by cheers of the cadets, my comrades and the higher ups, not to mention Hanji woof whistling at the distance.

"Tch, this is embarrassing. I overdid my reaction", said Levi and looked away to hide his blushing face.

I laughed and kissed his hand, "Don't be like that, just take the time to appreciate this moment. Everyone are congratulating us!".

Levi avoided looking around him and faced me instead with his blushing-mess face. My heart almost raised when I saw his hidden natural smile just for me to see and not anyone else to see.

"We're gonna continue this later, (Y/N). Don't forget that", he said in a serious but sweet tone and I could've seen him smirking.

I grinned from ear to ear and before I knew it, I find myself having a hustling and bustling dinner with the family inside the mess hall while Levi is secretly hoping that dinner would be over soon.
