Change My Mind

Chapter 1

(Joey POV) 

          "JOEY!" my dad screamed. "WhAT" I groaned back. I checked my phone "7:00 AM". "WAKE UP YOUR GOING TO BE LATE FOR YOUR FIRST DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL!" "UgHH NO 10 MORE MINUTES" I put my pillow on top of my head to try to block out my dad. "DON'T MAKE ME COME UP THERE" he screamed. Immediately, I got up. I headed for the bathroom. "I look awful.." I thought to myself. I pulled out my hair straighter and started straightening my blue hair. I went back into my room and put on my ripped, black, skinny jeans. I tied a white and black flannel around my waist, and put on my favorite Asking Alexandria shirt. It was HUGE on me but that's how I like my clothes, baggy and black. I put on my bright pink converse and checked the time. "7:50 AM"..wow I didn't realize it took me that long to get ready, I brushed my teeth and went down stairs. "Ready?" my sister said to me. "Ready as I'll ever be.." It was my first year in high school as a freshmen. My sister was a senior. "Don't worry Its not as bad as you think" I put my back pack on and she put hers on and we walked out the door and entered her car. "Yea..but it's not high school musical ether?" She laughed as she started to drive. "Who knows?Maybe it will be." I smiled "Good, I could use a troy right about now" She turned down the road. "Now Gabriela, I cant promise you Zac Efron but you never know you might meet someone." I laughed. But Maybe she was right, maybe I will meet someone. "I'm happy to see my friends. Not gona lie im shocked I maid it to high school." I said. "Me too" She said as the car came to a stop, "Well looks like were here. Both of us stepped out the car. "Welcome to East High!" I said joking. We Entered the school and my sister pointed me into the direction of my first class. "Bye sharpay" I said waving at her. I walked into my first class and sat down. I cant wait to see all my friends. There all in the grade above me because when I was in 6th grade they were in 7th. Before I knew It class was over. I went to my next class the bell then rang to go to the next class..which was our lunch block! I walked around with a water bottle in hand.. Im not one to eat lunch really. I looked around for my friend Haley who I haven't seen sent I was in 7th grade sense shes in the year above me.  After walking around for a bit I found a guy who was taller than me wearing a Pierce the Veil shirt. "I love your shirt!" I said looking up at him. "Thanks I like yours too." I knew were a kid wearing a PTV shirt was around Haley must be to. "JOEY!" I turned around to see Haley. "Hi!!" I said hugging her. "This is my friend Jay." She said pointing to the kid with the PTV shirt on. "I see you guys already met?" "Yup" he said. "Joey why don't you sit with us" I sat down with them and they introduced me to another guy named Elliot. We talked and got to know each other. I couldn't stop looking at Jayy..hes soo cute and soo funny.
