Chapter 2: Im no muggleborn

Alessia P.O.V
We walk in silence back to the dungeons as I try to process everything that has happened so far this morning. I'm a pureblood. I'm a Zabini. I have a new appearance. Wow! This is insane.

"Blaise" I say stopping.

"Yes Alessia"

"Why are you so calm about all of this? I mean you and I just found out we're twins."

"I'm not sure. I guess It's because I've always known I had a twin. Mother and father told me when I was younger because I have always wanted a sibling."

I turn to pansy "did you know Blaise had a sibling?"

"We all did because we are such close friends"

"You ready to tell everyone?" Blaise asks as we reach the dungeons.

"Ready as I'll ever be" I turn to the portrait of Salazar Slytherin and say the password 'Pureblood'. We enter to see Draco and Theo playing a game of wizard chess, and a couple of upper-year students I don't recognize.

"Draco! Theo!" Blaise calls "go find Crabbe and Goyle and meet us in our room"

"Their already up there" replies Theo standing and walking up the stair toward the boys room with Draco in tail.

"So, Remember how I said I was a twin? Well... this is her" he says motioning toward me. "Meet Alessia Leigh Zabini, my younger sister."

They all stare awestruck until Draco decides to speak "do our parents know?"

"Only ours" I reply. "I was planning on idling mother and father to ask them to wait until Christmas break to tell everyone."

"You might want to write that letter soon or mother will tell before you can stop her" blade says handing me a pice of parchment and a quill. I so sit at the desk in the corner and start to write

Dear mother,
       How are you? This all feels so surreal! I've been trying to process everything and have realized it would be much easier if you would wait to tell everyone until break face-to-face. I have already told Vincent, Gregory, Draco, and of course pansy. I plan on telling Daphne later today.
      I was also wondering if I could have pansy over during or holiday break? 
     Please write back soon!

     P.S. tell father I said hi.

I put the letter in an envelope and tied it to Blaise's owl.

"Done" I said.

I felt my stomach growl and glanced at the clock. It read 12:30. "How about we go get some food? I haven't eaten all day and I'm starving" I tell Pansy dragging her out of the room with me as I head to the great hall.

When we return to the the common room I see Blaise owl perched on the table with a letter tied to its leg. I untie the letter and see it's addressed to me.

Alessia,
        I have decided to act upon your request and wait until you come home to tell every one. I would also love if Pansy would like to spend the holiday with us! Draco will be staying with us too. We love you!
                ~your mother and father

"Pansy!" I yell excitedly. "Yes?" "Want to spend break at the manor with Blaise, Draco, and I?" "Yes!" She shrieks. "Yay! I can't wait!"

"Hey Daphne! I need to tell you something" I say as I walk into the girls dormitory. "What is it and who are you" she says with a look of disgust. "Oh, guess I forgot something. I'm Alessia Zabini- Blaise's twin- formerly known as Hermione Granger." "Your the mudblood that was sorted into Slytherin?" "Mudblood?" I question "I was never that cruel word! I have always been a pureblood just under a concealment charm."

"Once a mudblood, always a mudblood" she remarks as she walks away.

I hold back the tears threatening to spill. Once I declare my self presentable I go find pansy. I decide not to mention my talk with Daphne to anyone.

As I'm walking to my room I share with pansy and a girl named Millicent I get pulled into a corner. I look up to see 3 pairs of eyes staring at me. "What do you want? I'm looking for pansy."

"We need to talk to you about Daphne. We saw her in the common room and she looked bloody mad! Theo asked her what was wrong and she said you." Exclaims Draco.

"All I did was tell her who I was and she called me a mudblood" I say irritated.

"Well, it would do you well to stay away from her she's not a big fan of you because your so popular."

"Popular? I'm not popular."

"Oh yes you are! Your the new talk of Slytherin!" My brother tells me.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because your hot! Ouch!" Draco says as Blaise smacks his arm.

"Aye! That's my sister your talking about" Blaise says while glaring at Draco.

"Anyways... Daphne has always loved the attention and with you stealing it from her..." Theo trails off "you should just keep your distance."

"Noted. Can we not tell mom and dad what happened though?" I reply.

"If that's what you really want" Blaise says and I smile.

"I'm going to go find Pansy now. We'll meet you in the gray hall for dinner in 15 minutes" I say as I walk away.

Back at the common room Blaise and I sit talking. "How long have you known I exist?" I ask. "About 7 years. It's lonely at the manor so I've always wanted a sibling so our parents told me about you to get me to stop asking."

"I'm glad you wanted a sibling and don't hate me."

"I could never hate you Ali"

"Ali?" "That's my nickname for you. Do you like it? I can stop if you want." "I love it" I say giving him a hug.

"We should probably get to bed now. We have our first day of classes in the morning. Good night" "night, Blaise"

Staring at the ceiling in my room does nothing to calm my thoughts. How am I going to be friends with the Greengrass family if Daphne hates me? At least I have Blaise and Draco. Wait Draco? I don't like him in that way do I? I can't he's Blaise's best friend. It's not right. But what if I do like him?

Draco P.O.V

I'm such an idiot! I can't believe I told her she looks hot! I mean, she's my best friends sister! What if she hates me now? She could never like me in that way. Could she? I think as I feel sleep overcome me.
