"Agent Whitman my office. Now." Fury called me from his doorway. I walked over to him, my brown wavy long hair swaying behind me. I walked in and stood by the door, not sitting down because it would be too much of a hassle to get up and fight people if they broke in. "You can come in and sit."
"I'd rather not sir, sitting would get in the way of fighting of-"
"Kat, Hydra isn't going to break in."
"You don't know that and maybe I don't want to sit.". Fury shook his head and handed me a file. "A mission?"
"More or less." I opened the file and read it. "Project Serum? What a crappy name. Who came up with this?" I looked at Fury.
"I.Did." He said through clenched teeth.
"Well it's a very crappy name." Fury rolled his eyes or should I say eye at me. "Your job is to recruit the person in the file."
I looked at the man. Brown hair, crystal clear blue eyes and scrawny. "You want him?"
"Yes."
"Sir I don't mean to judge your orders or your missions."
"Good."
"But this kid looks like he can't even beat up a feather." Fury walked over to me, "Get the man and bring him to Shield."
"And if he doesn't want to come?"
"Make him." Fury walked back to his desk and sat down. "Sir I don't think this is a good id-"
"Dismissed." I left and ran to my office. I had to find this mystery man. From what I gathered from his file was that his name is Jake Thompson and he has one sister his age and brother who is thirteen and a little sister who is five. He lives in Texas on a farm. "Well Kat looks like we have a little road trip to go on." I grabbed the file and my helmet and changed into my cat suit and loaded all my pistols and throwing knives and my other weapons on me and headed off to Winnie, Texas.
