Catch Up

This is a little catch up on my year.

    You could say I wasn't the popular kid. I only had one friend, Nancy. We would sit with the boys at lunch. Life was boring......fast forward a few months. I decided to sit with the girls. That day changed everything. It was awkward at first, but soon we became good friends. We all had the same interests.
    That was the happy part, now for the sad part. One day in January, Nancy and I had a playdate. She told me that she needed to tell me something. I thought it was going to be crush related, but it was not. It was the saddest news of my life.....she was moving. I was so sad. My heart dropped. During the rest of the playdate I was trying to hold back tears. Who would be my best friend?....
    Okay enough of that sadness, now for the drama. Last year when I was in fifth grade, a kid in my class screamed out that he liked me. I had no idea. This year the same kid asked me to a Halloween Dance/Party. I didn't know what to say. I didn't want to hurt his feelings and say no, so I just said I needed to think about it. It turned out the dance was just a party. So I said no....eventually.
.    Anyways that was my year so far. In the future I will post a more detailed version of it, but for now, be ready to enjoy my day by day adventure in Middle school.
