The alarm echoed throughout my entire room waking me from my wonderful dream. In split second my hand reached over to the bedside table to turn off this annoying device. I slowly got out of bed feeling the stress from leaving my family. Even though my mom wishes for me to be homeschooled I disagreed because I wanted so bad to go to college. I went to the bathroom had a bath, brushed my teeth and wrapped myself in a towel. On my way downstairs I saw my little brother Damaine he gently hugged my foot and said "I'm gunna wiss you Brit" I laughed at his little voice and hugged him tightly and gave him a kiss on the cheek. My mom was already in the kitchen preparing breakfast she glanced my way and said good morning, I answered back in a polite tone. After eating waffles, bacon and egg I got all my stuff ready and in the car. Mom drove me to the airport she hugged me like her life depends on it "I'm gonna miss you cupcake" "I'm gonna miss you too madre I'll call you when I'm all set" with that she walked back to her heart but I knew her heart was breaking to see her only daughter leave her for college. She protected me my whole life I guessed its all up to me now.
