Chapter 1

Emmett's pov

I been in my room for months. I have not gone out of my room to hunt really nothing since, what happened that night.

Flashback

Me and Rose were hunting. I went after a deer then ran back to Rose. She looked sad so i kissed her. But she would not kiss back. I asked "Rose what's wrong?" She took a deep breath "Emmett i'm sorry but i found my real mate. You knew you were not my real mate but i can't pretend anymore." She ran off farther into the woods while i stood frozen. I hear and smell Edward, Alice and Jasper coming. "Did you three know this the whole time?" i growled. "she told us not to tell you Emmett. I'm sorry" Edward said putting a hand on my shoulder. "I looked into the future and saw if we would have told you. Well she would have gotten mad and kill Edward. And you know i can't let that happen." Alice said looking down. I put my hand on her shoulder "I understand I would not want my brother killed.Im gonna go to my room." I ran to my room and sat down on my bed. I put my head in my hands and felt my heart break into pieces.

After that day i have not left my room. Everyone have tried to talk me out even Nessie. i stood up and opened my door. Esma told me everyone was going for a hunt. I went to the living room and turned on a football game between longhorns and cowboys. I was in half time when there was a knock at the door. I got up and went over and opened the door. No one was there. I was about to shut the door when i saw.....
