It was a week before Christmas and everyone was busy and melody and her dads. (Alex and Freddy) were finishing there Christmas shopping for melody's little sister Lizzy. Melody had gone off on her own and was now in the jewelry aisle when she spotted a silver miniature music box she went over to the music box and picked it up and inspected it she noticed it had little sparkly blue snowflakes "I bet Lizzy would love this" she said to no one in particular. So she started to walk back to her parent's, "what do you have there sweetie" her dad Freddy said "a music box for Lizz" melody replied "she's going to love it cupcake" her other dad (who melody likes to call papa) said and ruffled her dark brown hair she smiled and rolled her green eyes. "Come on let's go check out," melody's dad (Alex) said. "Ok, papa" melody replied. On the way home, they stopped to pick up Lizzy from her friend's house. "Did you have fun at Charlotte's hon?" Freddy asked "yep" Lizzy replied. "Hay lizz I've got a surprise for you," melody said Lizzy blue eyes widened. "Can I have it?" Lizzy said "hmmm clean my room and I'll give it to you," melody said in a teasing way "ugg fine" Lizzy sighed. "Here you go," melody said handing Lizzy. A small lime green gift bag. Lizzy reached into the bag and grabbed the music box "wow it's so pretty" Lizzy said. When they got home Lizzy and melody went inside so their parents could put the presents in a tool shed so melody and Lizzy couldn't sneak a peek at there presents. When melody and Lizzy got inside the house they took off there boots and coats. Melody turned to Lizzy and said "hay Lizz" melody said. "Yay sis" Lizzy replied "can you open the music box I'm couriers on what kinda melody it plays," melody said. "Ok" Lizzy replied opening up the music box but instead of playing music something strange happened a dark purple light shot from the silver box and when the light dimmed a girl with short dark purple hair and a light purple dress with black bouts appeared she smiled a toothy grin and opened her eyes. Her eyes were red with blood dripping from her them she looked at Lizzy then lunged at her gouging her eyes out Lizzy screamed in agony "LIZZY" melody yelled out in the distance she could hear her parent's banging on the door melody ran up the stairs and down the hallway she could feel a warm liquid running down her cheeks. She tripped and fell. The girl caught up to melody than when she was standing over melody she spoke "naughty girls get there eyes eaten nice girls get there throats slit" she lunged at melody and ate her green eyes. When their parents finally got in the house they were greeted by a Horrifying sight on the tree were the star would have been was melody's head her lips sown in a twisted smile. And on the wall writing in Lizzy's blood was "it has been a red Christmas".
