The epic saga of Peter-Bob and Walter began in science class. Mrs. Shama had assigned us a project where we had to create a visual presentation that explained Newton's Three Laws of Motion. Thankfully, we had been given the opportunity to select our own group members.

As the air grew thick with chatter and the screeching of chair legs, Jenny, Catherine and I exchanged looks.

"Soooo...what do you want to do? I was thinking we could make a character or something to teach the laws of motion." Jenny explained, as she ripped a sheet of paper out of her notebook on which to brainstorm.

"The character should be a..." I typed "noun generator" into the search bar of Google and hit the Generate button. "Jellyfish! A grape jellyfish, like a jelly jar with tentacles."

To this day, I have no idea how I came up with that.

We then decided to provide the jellyfish, Walter, with a friend. Likewise, we created a peanut butterfly (basically a peanut butter jar with butterfly wings, two legs, and antennae) named Peter-Bob.

For the next several minutes, Jenny created rough sketches of both of the characters and we all collaborated on the script.

Here's an early sketch of Peter-Bob.

Jenny used the dialogue and situations we had created to digitally draw a comic strip, which turned out to be amazing
