Her jet black hair whipped in the wind, all that could be heard was the noise of her old beat up black combat boots hitting the pavement and the sound of screams coming from Miley.

Miley just kept on running. Her ripped jeans were ripping even more, and her jean jacket flew back showing the multiple layers she was wearing. A jean jacket, then a red and black checkered flannel finished by a 'The Rolling Stones' tee, topped off by her signature charcoal grey beanie.

She stopped running when she saw her best friend for seven years, Jughead Jones. The tall muscular boy immediately saw Miley and he broke out into a sprint getting there fast. He chucked a water balloon at her and then ran the other way.

Present Time//
Jughead Jones and Archie Andrews sat at Pop's Diner. Juggy slouched down in the booth. "Admit it Jug, you love her." Archie stated.

The raven haired, hipster looking teen slouched farther down into the booth, stuffing french fries into his mouth. He pulled his smokey grey beanie over his eyes, shaking his head. "Me? Love Miley? No no." Jughead's edgy voice spoke out.

Juggy rarely spoke—he was more of a writer, and when he did speak, it was usually something sardonic or him denying something. But when he was truly in the mood, he spoke poetically.

"Miley likes you too Jug," Archie sighed, "If you don't ask her out, I will."

Jughead pulled up his beanie, sitting up straight. "No." he said sternly.

"So little Juggy does like her." Archie joked.

The kid slouched back down, "N-no." he mumbled. "She's pretty, yeah. But my not type..." Jughead looked out the window seeing Miley getting out of her car. "Ah ah ah, she's here."

The two boys sat in silence until Miley broke it by climbing over the seat, sitting next to Jughead.

"Hey Miley." Archie spoke, fixing his ginger locks.

Miley glared at the two boys, "I've been gone all summer and I only get a 'Hey Miley' are you serious?"

Jughead leaned in and hugged his best friend, Miley gladly hugged back with a smile. "I've missed you Ley." Jughead mumbled.

"I've missed you too Juggy." She replied.
