"Nika, you know I love you. Even if we weren't together, I always will."

"I know.. And I love you too."

She smiled and kissed me.

"Hey.. How are things at home?"

She slowly widened her eyes, and looked at the ground.

"Well, things are getting better! Yeah!"

She looked at me, smiling wide.

I know she's lying.

"Really?" I acted surprised. "That's great to hear!"

"Mhm yeah.."

Her look went from me to the distance. You could see the sadness in her eyes. The pain...

"Why are you lying to me?"

"Huh?"

"You heard what I said."

"You don't trust me?"

"Well, it's obvious that you're lying to me. I'm not dumb, Nika. What really happened?"

"I told you! Everything's fine! We even went out shopping!"

"Did you really?"

"Yes! Why don't you believe me?"

"Because everything you're saying is pure bullshit."

She stared at me angrily and stood up.

"Nika.." I stood up as well. "I'm worried about you. God knows what he is capable of doing."

"But everything is FINE!"

"Then why are you crying?"

She didn't even realize that tears were rolling down her cheeks.

"I don't need you to worry about me. I can take care of myself. That's my father, after all."

"Your father is a scum!"

She clenched her fists at my words, and a second later, she slapped me.

"Don't you DARE talk about my father like that!"

"What?! You can't handle the truth?"

"Shut up!"

"Accept it. He is a monster. He is not your father. Your father is long gone!"

She started to cry even more.

"Shut up Yoongi..."

"I want to help you!"

I grabbed her hands and looked in her eyes deeply.

"I want you to be safe. And beside him, you are everything but safe! I-"

"We are done..." she said suddenly.

I was shocked by her words.

"What?"

"You-you know what I said. I-I don't need y-your pity."

She pulled her hands out of my grip and looked down at the ground.

"Goodbye, Yoongi."

I was still standing speechless by her words, when she started to go away.

"Wait!"

I grabbed her wrist, but she quickly pulled it out.

"Don't make this harder."

"Please.. Nika.."

"Just go.."

And then, she left me. Alone.

I just sat on the bench, trying to process what just happened. I was completely broken, in a milion pieces. It just required a few minutes for the reality to set in. She left me. She broke up with me. It's over.

"Nika..."

When it finally hit me, I put my head in my hands, and slowly started to cry. My love, my everything... I couldn't handle this. I knew, from the start, I'm not made strong enough to bear this. It's too much pain.

I spent many hours there, sitting and crying. I was a sobbing mess. A loner. People would look at me, some confused, some worried. But I didn't have the strenght in my mind to care. I wanted to scream, but my body wouldn't let me. My voice, it was gone. I, was gone...

That... That was the last time I ever saw her.
