The entrance of my life

I was at home, and it was my last year of high school. Prom night was right around the corner, and I still didn't have a date. I loved someone from my class but I never told her about it. My story might seem like a love story but trust me, it's all about torture. Full of sadness and tough times that I went through. Despite that, I decided to never give up on her.

~Corey(me): dad I just wanna do something fun. Mum is out of town and YOU are always busy! *rolls eyes*
~Jeffrey(dad): if u want to do something fun, then just go to your room and don't talk to me! Cant you see? I'm talking on the phone.
~Corey: ugh whatever *rolls eyes again*

I went up to my room and sat near the window. I was bored as hell, so I wanted to eavesdrop on my father, you know, to have fun. I went to the border of the stairs and listened carefully.

~Jeffrey: oh honey, please don't say you lost your job. We need the money to eat and drink. How am I supposed to pay the bills since no one is approving on my application!? I don't have a job!
~Jan(mum): sweetie, I think we're broke now...

Dad didn't say anything and I've already had enough of this conversation. I wanted to cry and shout in front of dad but I couldn't. I went to my room with tears filling my eyes.

I kept crying until my dad came in.

~Jeffrey: what is it son? Why are you crying?
~Corey: your asking me? Dad I heard what you told mum and what she told you. You never told me you lost your job! Mum is out of town to work for us right?

Dad kept silent and talked after a few moments.

~Jeffrey: son believe in God. Just have patience and wait. Come to dinner now.

I got down, ate dinner and grabbed my phone. I texted my best friend AKA my crush , Luka. She always helped me and never left my side. She was my only hope to prom.

~Luka: heyy cutie!! Wassup?
~Corey: sup? You know the usual life and also the crap.
~Luka: here we go again. Doesn't your dad tell you to always believe in God?
~Corey: he did and I just wanted to say hi, I gotta go now, bye!

As I hung up, I went to sleep. And guess what, tomorrow, is prom day! Yay! *sarcastic voice*

Friday, July 19,2017:

Prom day! Finally, its my chance to tell Luka I love her.
I got well dressed and went off to the party.
As I get there, I bump into my Bestie, Jake.

~Jake: brooo!! Hey look I don't have much time 'cause the DJ is waiting for me. Maybe ill see you after prom?
~Corey: Sure dude. Enjoy!

Oh God! Luka's here. She ran into me. Guess what happens? I bump into her, while she falls I stop her from falling and hold her. Yes finally!! Just like in the movies! But one question, why am I bumping into everyone today!?
~Corey: I'm so sorry Luka. Didn't mean to.
~Luka: it's alright dude.
~Corey: okay thanks. So... how are you?
~Luka: I'm good. How about you?
~Corey: good no problem...so wanna...
~Luka: oh sorry Corey, my best friend is waiting for me. Ill talk to you later. See ya.
~Corey: alright bye.

I wasn't happy at all, but I couldn't stop her from seeing her Bestie. Anyways, prom is over and I just sat with ma friends eating all night, yeah for your information the food is tasty! As soon as I got home, dad was shouting at me, I was like 'WHAT DID I DO NOW?'
~Corey: what did I do now?!
~Jeffrey: ugh you didn't do anything son. Just go to your room!
~Corey: you are my dad but a very bossy one.
~Jeffrey: do you know the meaning of go to your ROOM?
~Corey: yes I do, it means I should go to where I sleep!
~Jeffrey: your seriously doing this aren't you?
~Corey: look whatever, its better getting bored than sitting with you,fighting. Bye dad.

I ran to my room, feeling disappointed. Why does he always have to keep me in my room!? AM I PUNISHED OR WHAT?
So anyways, I took a shower and got out my bedroom and snuck out to my besties. They're having a party between the friends that's for sure. As I got there, I was surprised! Luka was there!

~Corey: hey guys. What's all of this?
~Jake: dude you know. We told you we're gonna have a friend-party right?
~Corey: I'm truly sorry but I forgot. I came here in a sneaking way, with out letting my father find out.
~Jake: its ok, and good sneaking! *laughs*
~Corey: thanks! *laughs back*

So it was a fun night. We ate junk food, watched movies, played video games and so on. The bad thing is my dad doesn't find this mess. I'm so in trouble.
"Bell Rings"
Oh no! Oh no! Da.. dad is here. He found out.
~Jake: COREY! Hide it's your dad *whispers*
I ran to Jake's room and hid under the bed.
~Jeffrey: hello kids. Have you seen Corey? He ran out of the house and there's no sign of him.
~Luka: no mister Martinez. We haven't seen him. Sorry.
~Jeffrey: thank you. Sorry for the disturbance. Bye.
Jake
Phew! Corey is safe now. After Mr. Martinez left, I called for Corey to come back.
Corey:
Good! I heard Jake calling my name. He had left. That was close.

~Corey: thanks for covering for me guys.
~Jake: sure bro. Anytime. So what should we do now? Watch more movies or prank some pe-o...
~guys: PRANK!
~Jake: whoah! Slow your roles! Okay I didn't even finish my word! *puts hand on hair*

Haha! It was fun pranking people. That's what I need exactly. This is  a funny moment, but I hope in the future it doesn't get any worse. I might laugh, I might smile that doesn't mean I'm happy from the inside. I'm wearing a mask for my own sake and my friends' sake.

~Corey: guys I have to go home. It was a great night. Bye!
~Bestfriends: bye Corey!!
