Staying Together (BTS FF)

Prologue

"Este, Belle, Donna." The kind elderly women spoke. "You girls are so kind and caring, however you can get into quite a bit of trouble... I'd like to thank you girls a lot for being responsible young ladies and caring for the ill. But.. now is not the time for that.. they are coming."

Upon hearing those words, Este tensed up. The others... Ravagers as they were more likely known as. Throughout the country of Istovania, there were very bad people.

These people had raped young women, murdered families, destroyed towns, and stole much needed food.

One thing that confuses everyone is that.. they give warning before they strike. As if, they'd like to see their preys squirm beneath their grip only to get crushed and stomped on.

"Ma'am... they're coming back? Hadn't they already taken the blacksmiths? ... Este's parents?" Donna questiond.

The old woman cried softly, "My dear child.. they're coming for us.. the elderly. They want our bones to make bome meal... but don't worry about that. This old hag is long past her due date."

"Don't say that!" Belle burst. "You still have quite a bit of ways to go, Grandma!"

"Oh dear child.. I really do think it's my time. I want you girls to get out of here before it's too late..." but they were indeed late.

A scream of terror echoes through the village causing Este's eyes to water. "Please... no.. not again... I can't let anybody else get taken from me!" She sobs.

"Go children, I lo-" her words were cut off with the contact of metal going through her neck.

Feeling scared and hopeless all of the girls ran. Sadly, the youngest, Este had lost sight of the two friends and was now running on her own.

Screams echoed through the town as the civilians ran. Not wanting to hear more the small child covered her ears and screamed. She screamed and she screamed loud. All movement around the girl halted to a stop as she looked up. Only seconds later time moved and the girl was trampled.

"What.. just happened..?" She whispered in shock before getting stepped on the arm and screaming out in pain.

"Este! Este! Where are you!?" Este could hear Donna, but she couldn't respond.

Sobbing as she was trampled, Donna and Belle finally made their way towards to beaten up and broken girl.

Finally realizing the girls weren't alone.. there was a boy at their side?

"Jungkook.. can you pick her up? We need to get out of here." Jungkook nodded and picked up Este gently in any case not to hurt her.

Not caring who the boy was, Este clung onto him and sobbed into his chest.

Feeling sorry for Este, he whispered a couple soothing words as they high jacked it out of there.

All five of them had reached the Forest of Glavco, walking in Este was trying not to fall asleep in Jungkook's arms. Yawning she watched Belle and Donna walk ahead of them a bit.

Noticing the girl was yawning Jungkook smiled down at her. "Go ahead and sleep. I'll wake you up if something happens." Este nodded cuddling into Jungkook as he carried her.
