My name is Allan, Allan Cooper. I am fifteen years of age and well that's all I remember at this point in time, I have no idea where I am or where I'm from. I am surrounded by a wall of trees from left to right, no one in sight but I hear faint noises. Trying to get up is a struggle but I manage, I was laying in a little puddle of blood from my left arm under a large tall pine tree. I try and remember what was going on but a sharp pain goes through me like lightning, I scream in pain and fall back down with a thud, I help myself up and start limping from tree to tree. I have no clue on where I'm going but I have to find somewhere that's civilised, as time goes by I slowly can go to a walking pace but my arm that's cut open isn't healing very well.

About an hour goes by but still no sign of civilianisation can be spotted, I see a carving in a tree up ahead, it's a arrow, I run my hand across it but flashes of thoughts strike in my brain and I fall back and start screaming again. The pain is terrible and I can't take it, moving pictures are all around my mind but I can't focus on them. ALLAN!!! Screams a voice through the pictures, and it all stops just like that, who was that voice and where have I heard it before. That arrow carving was pointing towards  the way I was heading originally, I keep following its direction and more arrows are on different trees they seem to get smaller and smaller. The arrows stop right here and nowhere else to go, I hear rustling noises somewhere between me and a giant boulder to my right. What could it be? A deer? A bear? Whatever it is it's big and coming my way.

Closer and closer it gets, there is no where really to hide except for a hole in the ground which I had no choice but to jump in. As I jump in the hole with broken branches so I'm not as visible as what I was, an enormous brown grizzly bear emerged from behind the rock with hunger in its eyes, I froze in fear and try not to make any sound which isn't helping with my heavy breathing. It smells my scent and starts looking around for me, I curl up in a little ball and try not to be seen by the beast from the woods. I had a idea but it's risky and dangerous but I have to do something or else I'm a goner, the bear turns around nows my chance to leg it, I jump from the hole and start running in a random direction.

It hears me and gives a mighty roar, I run for my life away from the ferocious beast. Jumping over bushes is a pain, but I have to keep going or else I die, it's getting faster and faster by the second and it feels like it's drawing me towards it. A random branch comes out of nowhere and smacks me right in the jaw, it left a scratch across my face but that isn't going to stop me, I keep running from the bear. The roars are getting really close, I turn around to see it's right behind me and almost in reach of me, there is a tree up ahead with sturdy branches and I think to myself "if I get up there fast enough, I can just miss the bears mighty claws".

Starting to gain speed is a struggle but I manage, now the moment is here, it's now or never, I give an all mighty jump for a branch. Time feels like it's slowed down for me, right at this moment, everything is slowly moving all around me. The branch is just in my reach, I grasp onto the branch I try to heave myself up with both arms but my left arm is giving me pains that's making me struggle. I'm almost there but the bear swipes at my legs, it's really mad and tries to rip my legs off, it keeps on trying but only just misses my foot. Finally I'm able to climb at a good height away from the bears reach, on a secure branch I look down upon the bear to see what its reaction is but it was gone from sight, I look around and I can't see it at all. Well at least I can relax now that it's away from me, I look towards the sun, it's slowly resting down to the horizon, it reminds me of something familiar. Another pain goes to my head but not at it's best, it's more like a hit your head on the table pain right now, I hear that voice again except it's very dull and quiet, I try not to think anymore because I don't want more pain. Resting my back against the trunk of the tree, I slowly start to fall asleep.

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping up from a higher branch, the fresh air of the morning enters my lungs as I start to make my way down to the ground. I look around for safe measures to see if the bear is not around, the close is clear, I jump down and start to wonder about saying to myself "I need to find a way out of here" as I walk towards a strange walk way of trees. Ten minutes goes past and still nothing to be seen except trees and bushes, I stop off at a clear river stream, I take huge mouthfuls of the water but I stop and stare at the other side of the river, ITS THE BEAR!

It saw me and gives an all mighty roar, we both start running, I run as fast as I can but this time the bear seems to be faster than yesterday. Dodging every single obstacle is slowing me down but I keep running non stop, I look behind me and it's mighty paw swipes at my feet and trips me, I fall down a not so steep hill and land on my left arm and scream in pain. But I keep going onward away, my arm is bleeding again from the fall and it's leaving blood everywhere, I cover it up with my torn down shirt and keep running.

It's happening all over again, bear is chasing me and I'm running away from it, I can't concentrate properly and start slowing down, the bear has disappeared. Voices start surrounding me and I feel like their over powering me, I see another arrow except it's carved into a rock this time and it's pointing straight ahead towards a bright light, why didn't I see that before? Step by step I slowly head to the light but also confused about where the bear has gone, just thinking about it gives me a hunch that it's gotta be here somewhere. From the bushes the bear has come running at full speed at me, I panic and jump to the side, the bear hits the tree behind me and groans.

It turns around and looks at me in anger, I run towards the light as the beast is hot on my tail, I trip on a root sticking half way out of the ground and land face first. The bear is on its hind legs and is about to finish me, I have no idea what to do it's going to kill me, it gives a massive roar...
