I paced around the room. Trevor has never been this late before! I checked my watch for what seems like the 30th time. It read 11:27pm. He was almost 40 minutes lat-
The door finally opened and Trevor walked in.
"Trevor you scared me! Why are you so late?" I looked at him. "Wait where were you?"
"Sorry Britt. I was just with my friend who was picking me up and his car's, uh tire deflated." He scratched the back of his head and looked down.
"You're not lying, right? You wouldn't." I cracked a small smile nervously.
"Uh yeah of course I'm not." He smiled back slightly.
There was a weird silence, until he spoke up.
"I'm tired so I'm gonna go to bed now." He says. "Goodnight Britt."
"Okay. Goodnight.."
I walk up to my room. I hope he wasn't lying. But if he wasn't, why was he so nervous? I decided to just go to bed and think about it tomorrow.

Okay maybe I lied. Just a fib.. Okay no it wasn't a fib. It was a pretty big lie.
My friend's car tire didn't deflate. He drove me to a bar just after my work at 10:45pm. He just wanted me to meet his new 'hot' friend. So I went, and I ended up having a few drinks and I lost track of time.
I didn't do anything with girls which is good, but I suddenly remember that I still lied. I'm the worst boyfriend ever. Why am I so stupid?
