You plopped down on the couch, happily munching on some popcorn while watching your boyfriend, Jimin, who was sitting on the floor in front of you. "So, what are we watching tonight? Romantic comedy, action, Disney classic?“ you asked, raising an eyebrow to hint at the last choice. "Actually, I kinda wanted to watch something a little different this time.” "Oh…“ you pouted. Noticing the disappointed tone in your voice, he turned around, placing his hands on your knees. He mimicked your pout before leaning upwards to peck you on the lips. "It’ll be good, Jagi, I promise.” You nodded, still a bit upset, but not wanting to be selfish since you got to pick the movie last week.
He shuffled through his bag and pulled out a DVD case, but you couldn’t see the cover from behind him. Once he put it in, he hopped on the couch and slung his arm over your shoulder. When you saw the words, “Hash-Slinging Slasher” written in blood on the title screen, you immediately put the snack bowl on the table, pushing yourself away from Jimin. "No, no, and no! I refuse to watch this!“ "Why, Jagiya?” he chuckled with a smirk. "You know I hate scary movies!“ He pinched your cheeks and said in a teasing manner, "Awww, is my little _____-ah scared?” You swatted his hands away and rolled your eyes. "Don’t worry,“ he began, flicking your chin with his index finger. "Oppa will protect you.”
About half way through the movie, you realized that it wasn’t scary at all and the special effects were actually kind of crappy. When you tried to reach for more popcorn, you felt Jimin’s arms tighten around you. You smirked, glad that he was finally the one that got scared for once. You looked up at him innocently and asked, “You okay, Babe?” "Huh? Oh, yeah, I-i’m f-fine.“ "You sure? It’s okay if you’re a little scared, y'know.” "Me? Scared? Of course not…“
It was right at the end of the movie when the killer was about to murder his last victim. Jimin flinched as an ax was slammed into the screaming girl’s skull. You had to stop yourself from laughing at his horrified facial expression. The credits rolled onto the screen and you pulled away, stretching your arms. "How about I start another movie while you get some more popcorn?” you suggested, handing him the plastic bowl. He nodded, taking it and walking into the kitchen before you called out to him, “Hey, I think they have the sequel on Netflix! We could-” "No!“ he yelled before stepping out to lean on the door frame. "I mean, uh, why don’t we just watch a Disney movie like you wanted to before? How about ‘Princess and the Frog’?” He tried to sound calm as he sauntered back into the living room. “I don’t know…I kinda liked the 'Hash-Slinging Slasher’. The second one will probably be twice as good…” you teased, scrolling through your Netflix account. You clicked on the sequel before Jimin could stop you and the killer’s bloody face popped up on the screen. Jimin shrieked, accidentally tossing the bowl of popcorn. It landed upside down on his head, spilling the salty snack on the floor around him. You doubled over in laughter before pinching his cheeks like he had done to you earlier. "Awww, is my little Jiminie scared?“ He jerked away, rubbing his cheeks. "Aish…That’s not funny. And now you have to help me clean all this up.” You plucked a piece off his shoulder and ate it. "There. One less piece to clean up.“
