My eyes narrowed. "You can't expect me to believe that." I stated, glaring at the teenage boy in front of me. Tears threatened to push to the front of my eyes, but I blinked them back. He sighed in frustration, running his hand through his hair. I crossed my legs, shifting on the concrete stairs of my porch. How could he do this after how much we've been through? "It's not that I don't like you, I just- I can't handle a relationship..." he said, looking down at his shoes. I stared in disbelief. Is he cheating on me? This can't be it. My mouth opened and closed but no words came out. He looked at me, scanning my face for any signs of anger. I clenched my fists and put my head on my knees. It can't end like this, the "it's me not you." I looked up at him, my eyes pleading. "What did I do wrong?" I whispered softly, tears slightly staining my cheeks. He just shook his head sadly and said, "You did nothing." My body went numb with shock. What does he mean? I pushed myself off of the cold ground and my legs felt wobbly as I walked up the stairs. I could feel his eyes on my back as I pushed open the door to my house. I wanted so badly to slam it in his face, but I just clicked the door shut, not even bothering to lock it. Nothing really matters to me...
