Lydia (An Original Story)

Chapter one

In a world like mine life seems to be perfect and peaceful (at least that's what I thought). Its been almost a thousand years since the destruction of earth and now the human/Nervan race lives on a planet called Nerva . Nerva is not really a planet its more like a plant made out of dome's connected to other dome's . It's a very confusing place if you come here from a neighboring planet, But its my home and my family's before they were assassinated . I remember it almost as it was yesterday but it was five years ago.

"Mommy,Daddy please wake up, P.please" I say sobbing as I shake my mom and dads dead corpse's

"Please,Don't leave me alone"

I gasp and sit up in my bed my long black curly hair all tangled and sweat all over me "I..it's okay Lydia it was just a dream." I whisper to my self as I sit on the side of my bed. I hear a knock "Who is it" I say in a monotone voice. "Are you okay princess Lydia"   I hear a voice reply back."uh. I mean yes I am fine I'll be out in a second ".I say in a fake cheerful voice. I always make that type of voice now a day's. Ever since my Parents death's five years ago everything
Seemed to be Gray. Food,dancing,even my reflection.
But I still have to smile. I have to be strong for my people. I put on my daily outfit. A white long sleeved jumpsuit with a layered skirt that reaches  the ground and a long light purple cloke .as I brush my black hair out and put on my white diamond crown I look in the mirror. I have my mothers black curly hair and my fathers green eyes. I hate looking in the mirror ,I hate being reminded of them.

As I walk out of my room I walk into the halls of lunar. There are ten different country's. Sara(where my best friend Princess Eden lives), lunar (were I live and the capital of
Nerva),Nix,Cryo,Agra,Ty,Newx,Erza,Salma,And Igro
And there all very different from each other.lunar is made up of buildings and there's no outside,unlike Sara and Agra were Sara's is more of a medieval dome and Agra's a more forest /plains dome. As I walk passed the enclosure  ,His enclosure. I see him at his desk writing. I pull out a key card and swipe it. The light above his door turns from red to green. As the door slides open I walk in as the door quickly closed behind me. "Hello your highness". He says not looking away from his desk." Hello lenic ,You seem the less bit bothered im in here". I say laughing a little.
"yes,Because you've visited me almost everyday since you could walk and even how many times Eric and I remind."
He says putting his pen down and looking at me.

"You not to come in here because I could kill you." He stands up and walks towards me pinning me to a book case.
"We know you wouldn't listen so I stopped being surprised". He says as he reaches for a book and walks away.
"and I'm not gonna lie I like how you come and visit me gives me some company a way to have nervan contact". He says "But Then I remember in dangerous so all the good feelings wash away but I'm sure you know how that feels".But then he swivels his chair in my direction .But if you don't have anything you need from me I'd suggest you leave before Eric comes here." I sighs and walks towards the door. But before I open it I look at lenic "I want you to know the only reason I visit you is because I knew you were lonely and you're my friend and lenic". I say facing the door having my key card out." As soon as I'm queen you won't be in this enclosure anymore"I turn my head."I promise".I swipe the key card and walk out of there.

As I walk to my Quarters I see a familiar Shadow and I groan"Hi Eric " I say smiling. Eric Stevens hottest guy on lunar and my annoying second in command. To all the guys he's stuck up . To all the girls he's dreamy ,To me he's well he's Eric. "Hello Lydia so may I ask what you were doing in lenics enclosure early." I roll my eyes"Because I am soon to be queen of lunar and I can do whatever I please". He looks at me wide eyed then he hugs me "Lydia stop being so hostile I'm not gonna kill or hurt lenic. I'm worried he'll hurt you". He hugs my tighter " you know how I feel about you. So Lydia w.will you m.." Then an alarm goes off and Eric and I run to the main control room."What's going on here". I say in a smooth demanding voice
"Princess Lydia thank god your here" Rath  (Lenic and Eric's father and the general of Nerva). Walks toward me
"The nesters their trying to break the dome of lunar"
Nesters are half scorpion/Spider creatures except there ten times bigger.
"I won't let those disgusting things destroy my Kingdom"
I say as a dark purple and black aura from around me and my outfit turns black and dark purple and a purple ball of light forms in my hand and my black wings flaps out.
"L.Lydia I don't think you should.."
"I don't care about what you think right now I have to defend my people "
I say as I walk towards the only door to the outside of Nerva and I put on a air helmet which let's me breath and see in the harsh desert of Nerva. Eric grabs my arm and hugs me"please be careful
Please"
I smile
"I will don't worry"
I says as he walks out the room shuting the door and looking out the window so he can see me.
I smile and open the door to the outside and I flap my wings and fly up in the air. I see the nesters attacking the side of the dome.
"Not today you filthy pest"
I say as a ball of light comes out of my hand and hits one of them incinerating it in second's .one by on the nesters become into dust. But then one of the nesters shoots its web around my legs and starts pulling me down. I try to use my powers but I couldn't hit it.As it drags me to the ground I think 'this is the end. I'm dead'. But then I hear someone yell my name.
"LYDIA".
I see a red ball of light come towards me and I black out.
" What happened? "
"Am I dead?"
