i dont live in ireland, but i wanted to write a book about two boys falling in love in a small place where nobody will listen to them.
so i chose an english speaking country and on a map picked out a place that not a lot of people heard of but big enough so i could still reasearch it, and spent months planning road routes, looking at houses and apartments in the area, and looking up schools to "send" my characters to. i studied irish simply for a book.
this book is written as a literal diary from the point of view from both of the boys, so one might not write in it every day, one might have a different writing style, one might not delve into details like the other one.

lmaooo hello im alexander that was very serious im tired but basically im not irish but this story is set in ireland and these kids will occasionally be talking irish or mumbling spanish but there will be translations lol and i got too into this story n did research so about the irish town of sligo and the book is writen as a diary entry from the point of view of the characters so like one would be super descriptive while the other would be like "today was a day" kk bye lol
