Chapter Two

"So is it true?"Lars asked. "Is what true?"Matthew asked. "Y'kn'w."Berwald nodded. "Know what?"Matthew replied back. "Are you...?"Lovino said. Matthew gave them confused looks. "You know! Are you....."Scott helped him to catch on. "Am I what?"Matthew really had no clue what they were talking about. "Well to put it simply,there have been some rumours going around that you're dating Gilbert."Lovino said. Matthew raised his eyebrows. Had Lovino really just asked thag question? And really,how did this rumour start?

"No!"Matthew exclaimed. Everyone stared at him. "No,I'm not dating Beilshidmt."Matthew finished. "Then how did the rumour start?"Lars asked. "Ja."Berwald nodded. "I don't know..."Matthew shrugged. The librarian came over and told them to shut up. Lovino just snapped at her back. But maybe someone saw them kiss...?

"Hey Birdie~"

Matthew nearly jumped 30 feet in the air when Gilbert's arm wrapped around his waist. No wonder people thought they were dating. "This is a library,the least you could do is keep quiet!"Matthew whispered. "Awww... Then it's no fun..."Gilbert rested his chin on Matthew's shoulder. "You know,there's been a rumour going around that we're dating."Matthew said putting his book on the shelf. "So?"Gilbert said. He really didn't seem bothered. "Aren't you bothered it by even a little?"Matthew asked. "No,not really...."Gilbert sighed. Matthew wouldn't mind dating Gilbert. He was fun,cute,and hilarious! "So...."Gilbert sighed impatiently. "I was wondering if you would wanna go on a date with the Awesome Me...?"Gilbert asked. "Sure."Matthew smiled. "Wow... That was easier then I thought..."Gilbert grinned. "So... You don't mind me being gay or anything?"Gilbert asked. "Nope."Matthew smiled. "Really?"Gilbert seemed a bit surprised by Matthew. "Keep it a secret?"Gilbert asked.

"Totally."

Matthew hadn't told a single soul about his date with Gilbert. He had said something about Friday night at his place or something.

"Hey Matthew!"Elizabeta walked up to him. "Yea?"He blinked innocently. "I was wondering if sometime,you know... Would you like to go on a date or something?"She smiled. "Ummm..... Sorry,I can't...."Matthew nervously chuckled. "Oh well,that's ok!"She smiled and went over to some friends of her's. Matthew shrugged and walked off.

"Dude! What is wrong with you!"Lovino walked up to him,followed by Scott,Berwald and Lars. "What do you mean?"Matthew sighed. "Not this again...."Scott rolled his eyes. "M'kn'w!"Berwald also rolled his eyes. For the big awkward guy he was,he was actually pretty emotional and playful once you got to know him. "I heard Elizabeta asked you out on a date and you turned her down!"Lovino exclaimed. "She's like the hottest girl in school!"Lars added on. "Yea,I know."Matthew nodded. "Why did you turn her down?"Scott asked. "Becuase I'm in love with somebody else."Matthew replied. "So? Your mean enough to date her."Lovino said. "So?"Matthew grabbed his math books. "S'?! Wh' 's 't?"Berwald asked. "Tell ya later! Got math class."Matthew said.

So Matthew went to math class. He was partners with Gilbert (of course!). It was almost like you could feel the romance between them.

Unforunantly, Lovino and Berwald took the same class as them.

"I jeard Elizabeta asked you out!"Gilbert said. "Yea,I turned her down."Matthew chuckled. "Damnit."Gilbert watched as his pencil lead broke.
