Only Once: A Broppy Fanfiction

Chapter 1

Poppy was going to Branch's bunker. Branch can be a grumpy idiot sometimes, but a helpful troll as well. Poppy had a tiny crush on him, but more Creek. Poppy knew she would never end up dating a grumpy troll like Branch.

Branch was lonely in his bunker, making wooden chairs. He just wished he would be dating the princess. Yes, she can be happy and annoying all the time, but for Branch, he thought Poppy was his. But he also knew that a happy, popular princess can never love a poor, grumpy and grey troll like him.

Poppy bangs the hard rock door. "Branch! Branch! If you're sleeping, wake up!" screamed Poppy.

"What do you want? You keep bugging me!" repiled Branch, as he opens the rock door.

"Wanna come to my birthday party tomorrow? I forgot to make an invitation for you, but you can still come!" said Poppy.

"Seriously. No!" declined Branch. "I will never go to any of your stupid parties."

Poppy felt offended by the grumpy troll. "Can you at least be happy for once? You always ruin everything! And that's why nobody likes you!" shouts Poppy, as she left off crying.

"Poppy!" said Branch. "I'm so-".

Branch starts crying. Why is he like this. Should he just be happy just for once?

Branch wanted to apologize to Poppy. He goes into a bush quietly. He sees Poppy in Creek's lap.

Creek is Branch's mortal enemy. Everyone ships Creek with Poppy. They would push Creek to Poppy. One time, they almost kissed on the cheek after Coopers pushes them together. Creek is a calm and positive troll. Everyone likes his behaviour. Creek would always try to keep track of Branch's plans and behaviour.

Poppy was crying on Creek's lap. Creek was trying to comfort her.

"It's okay, Poppy. I'm gonna teach that grump a big lesson!" said Creek.

"You don't have to." said Poppy. "It's my fault. I shouldn't have invited him."

"What do you mean by its not your fault? I'm seriously gonna tell him to stop being a kid. He should grow up!" complained Creek.

Branch didn't want to hear anything more about how stupid and dumb he is. Should he at least be happy once?
