Summer Nights

idk what to call this chapter....lol :)

We laughed and splashed each other like small children. We looked at each other and he quickly grabbed my waist and pulled me close. I wrapped my legs and arms around him and he carried me. There, in the steady moving lake, we danced. To the sound of the crickets chirping softly and the breeze gently blowing across the surface of the lake. The music of night. Our bodies moved in unison, as if we were weightless in the water. He led the dance as he spun me around laughing then pulling me to him. "You're quite the dancer." he whispered into my ear. "You're quite the liar." I replied playfully. He kissed hungrily down my neck making me giggle hysterically and grin like a fool. I dunked his head under the water and quckly swaqm for shore. I stopped at the sandy rocks, legs still submerged, and let him catch me. He rawred and picked me up making me scream like a little girl. He lay me down on the grass and pinned me down and kissed me softly. "Be right back." he said winking. I spread out to dry and watched him walk to his truck. I closed my eyes and touched my lips as I recalled his on mine. What is up with me? I'd never felt this way about anyone, much less him. I used to hate him when we were kids, but 2 years ago, in 8th grade, we started talking. Now he's my bestfriend. Bestfriend that kisses me and makes me feel this way? What am i feeling....He shook me of my mindless thinking when I heard the unclasping of his guitar case. I looked over grinning. "Play me something?" I asked him.He sat down beside me while tuning his guitar. "Only if you sing with me." he said winking. I rolled my eyes and shrugged. I pointed to my lips playfully. He leaned in, grabbed my chin, and pressed our lips together, holding them there forever. I let go breathlessly and nodded.
