"Good morning, class." Spoke a glass-wearing boy in front of the classroom.

"Good morning, sensei!"

The boy stared in the empty chairs for a minute, then his head slumped down. "Who am I kidding, I don't have any students." The raven-haired boy smiled while crying. His smile was just for pitying himself though. Poor guy.

As if he's whole body turned into jelly, he wobbly sat at his chair, then lied down his head at the table. He let out a pretty big sigh, then, with a newfound vigor, he smiled cheekily.

"Don't let this ruin your day, Ryu! You're the best teacher, surely you're students were just late?" He nodded to himself. "Yes yes, that's right." Looking back at the table, he saw some scribbled notes, then read it.

A note to the me of the next day; nobody enrolled yesterday since I was out playing in the arcade. You're gonna go bankrupt. Good luck future me.

-Fukusawa Ryuji

That was the last straw for the boy to start crying like a little girl. He slammed his fist at the table for some time, then, when he felt a searing pain in his hand, he looked at it.

There was a thumb tax embedded in the side of his palm. "AHHHH SHHI--"

"Excuse me?" An obviously feminine voice sounded besides the doorway.

Ryuji turned to the sound in instincts, his glasses tilted a little too low in his right eye. He blinked, as if he had just seen a ghost.

The thing is, she is a ghost.

She wore the typical uniform for E.N. academy, yet somehow, it's as transparent at her whole body. If that wasn't the huge giveaway, her feet floating a foot above the floor must be, then. At least, her long, blonde hair kept it's original color, unlike any other part of her body; she seemed to glow in a blue ethereal light, you see.

"Are you Fukusawa-sensei?" The girl said without moving her lips.

"Ah, yes," he adjusted his glasses, then inspected the girl from head to toe. "Fukusawa Ryuji, at your service. May I help you?"

The girl rose a transparent eyebrow, staring at the bleeding hand of the teacher. With a slightly worried tone, she replied. "Uhm, I enrolled here in your school yesterday, but I can't touch the pen and write on the enrollment sheet... Eto, is your hand ok--"

"A STUDENT?!" Ryuji suddenly blurted out. Then, with an ear-to-ear smile, he pointed at one of the many empty seats. "Sit down, sit down! I was just about to start the class but..." His energy suddenly deflated at the end.

The ghastly apparition somehow sweatdropped. "But there wasn't a class?"

"Just sit down..." Ryuji sulked in a corner.

"Hmm. Miyata Yami, huh," the bespectacled man stared at a sheet of paper.

"Eh? How did you know my name?" The girl tilted her head.

"Magic." He spoke without turning to her.

Miyata stopped at that, not really knowing what to say anymore. After a few minutes, she hesitantly raised her hand. "Sensei?"

"Heh?"

"Aren't you going to teach me anything?" She inquired, stopping the boy in his musings.

"Teach?" Weirdly, he seemed to think about it for some seconds, then he widen he widen his eyes. "I forgot."

Miyata chuckled quietly at the joke, but then she saw the serious face of her supposedly teacher. "You were serious?!"

"Sensei, sensei." Miyata once again rose her left hand.

"Hmm?" Ryuji kept on writing something at the blackboard.

"Why did you build a school for 'special' children?" She even added a qouting motion.

"Why, to profit of cour-- EHEM, I mean, to help them! I have the power to help those in need, then why wouldn't I?" He dramatically raised his glasses while grinning to himself.

"Ooooh. Sensei, you're nice." Miyata didn't notice his teacher's slip up at the begining. "I hope you'll succeed on helping me." She smiled.

"Heh. Just trust Ryuji-sensei and you'll be the most smartest person in the world in no time." Then he laughed to himself, all the while writing at the blackboard without even looking at it.

"Really sensei? Thank you." Then again, she sweatdropped. "I hope you'll stop doodling at the blackboard though, and teach me for real now..." Her pleas went unanswered as the 'noble' teacher kept on drawing yen signs repeatedly.

Miyata jerked her head to a red bell at the corner, surprised at the slightly loud volume of the contraption. She smiled to herself, then stood up.

"Thank you for the day, Fukusawa-sensei! It was so much fun learning new things today." Then, she frowned for a second. "I can't enroll in normal schools since I'm already dead, so I was delighted when I saw this school."

Ryuji turned his gaze at her from his book, then smiled. "That's a good thing to hear, Miyata." He closed his book, then stood up too. "I promised to help special children to survive in this world. I'll gladly take you in, even if you're a demon, a dragon, or a ghost." A ray of light seemed to dramatically shine down in front of his face, making him look quite romantic and cool.

"Hmm!" Miyata started floating to the door in the northside of their classroom, and for the last time, she turned around.

Ryuji was sitting on his chair again, while reading the random book silently. "Yes, my student?"

"The book's upside-down, sensei..."

Ryuji didn't move an inch, his smile still plastered on his face. Suddenly, he laughed. "Ahahaha! Haven't you heard? This is the new trend lately." He happily looked at the pages. "Reading books upside-down. Hah."

Miyata's eyes sparkled, now learning a new, brilliant thing in this class once again. "Ooooh. I'll try that while I'm reading at my coffin!" She slowly vanished, then she was gone.
