though i know this will hold for the rest of the summer
but i don't think through anything and it's showing
i'm beginning to think people are starting to notice
maybe it's because i speak a lot about you to them

i'm nineteen, i've got nothing figured out but you
there's nothing wrong about a couple of nights up
just as long as they're spent talking shit together

and this is all nice but what are we building up to
and we might never know what it is, postpone it

in december, i'm not sure if this'd be all different
and january next year i don't know where we'll be
