"Rich where we at bro?" I ask my bestfriend Rich the Kid. We been kicking shit since like 8th grade.
"New York Dex"
"Aye all my lady fans, if you in New York pullup and chill with Dex tonight. Mystical Mayhem Club at 9:00. Ohmanngotdamnn Meet me there. " I say as i blow a kiss at my camera.
I was making an Instagram video for my fans. I love my fans man.
"Dex, Laka asked when you were planning to shoot for "2 Times"? He said he's in LA when you're ready. " My assistant, Layla said. I gave her a simple head nod and continued to roll my blunt up.
"Oh, Layla?" I asked remembering I needed something from her.
"Yes sir?"
"Can you bring me and the boys water and advil? This blunt already looking like dinner. " I said laughing. She laughed to and went to go get the stuff.
We had just gotten off the tour bus getting checked into the hotel. We're about to have a long night.
Lailani's POV
"Bitchhhh, Dex is in the city!!" I scream jumping on my bestfriend's bed. I've been a Famous Dex fan since like 2009, and I love him so much. He rarely comes to New York and when he does I'm either out of town or busy.
Looking at his Instagram video he said he'll be at Mystical Mayhem club tonight, which is in Times Square. It's ironic that I have to be on that side of New York today.
Let me do a quick introduction. My name is Lailani Evans. I am 22 years old. I've lived in Staten Island, New York my whole life. I just got my medical degree to become an ultrasound technician. I own two businesses, but in case they fail I want to have something to fall back on, so that's why I have a job. I have two brothers named King (younger) and Kade (older); a younger sister named Kaelin, and my mother is having twins, and their names will be Kaliyah and Karter.
Back to the Story .......
"Omg Lay get off me before you break a bone in my body man." My bestfriend, Raja said. She's not a morning person.
"Fine, but hurry and get ready if you want a ride. " I scoffed, heading to the shower. I turned my beats pill on and listened to "2 Times" by him while I was in the shower.
I got out a little after the song ended and went to my closet. I own a 3 bedroom condo, and Raja lives here until she can save enough money to get her own apartment. It's just me, her, and my dog Chase. I picked a black dress, a red blazer, and some black heels. I unwrapped my hair and let my all black and natural hair that stopped in the middle of my back, flow. It was still bouncy, which was good because I didn't have time to get it done today.
My nails still looked good, and my makeup was light. I mostly just did my eyebrows and put some concealer under my eyes to cover my bags. I put all my necessities in my purse, my phone, my charger, my lipgloss, some business cards, and some perfume.
I had at least 10 minutes to spare so I was rushing to pack me an outfit for Dex's concert.
