Within Seconds

Fast enough?

-beep beep beep-
Was the sound the hospital monitor made,but  why were these the sounds being heard? Was she alive? Or was she slowly beginning to die ?
Let's go back, to where all of this began.
- 4 hours earlier -
-Back at star labs...-
"Barry ? Barry? Can you hear me?"
" yeah, Cisco I hear you"
" there's a high speed chase , a black automobile headed down 51st street"
" I'm on it".
Running made Bartholomew " Barry" Allen feel alive . More than ever , being a hero was his dream. Yet   when dreams become a reality it's hard to handle . As Barry began running towards 51st a yellow streak appeared beside him .
" You didn't think you would be doing this alone right?" Chuckled Wally
" Ah the leather banana , let's get this mission done."
" The name is kidflash Barr."
As the two ran side by side , the sounds of sirens filled the atmosphere. Central city was the home of The Flash and Kidflash,yet Central  city  wasn't your everyday average city. This city was filled with many metahumans , some good yet most are bad. Central city is the city of betrayal, as those who have these powers don't really know how to feel, nor what to do . As these powers break families,friendships, and relationships.
With Barry and Wally finally spotting the black automobile, they decide to catch him off guard . With Wally heading left and Barry heading right .
As the two race towards the automobile...a collision between the auto mobile and a Audi MR8  occurs.
As Barry and Wally, move people out of the way in a flash . Wally grabs the man in the automobile and dashes back to the CPD. With  the streets now  silent and  empty. Barry walks up to the Audi MR8 and  falls to his knees. Yet why was this? Why did our beloved hero feel lost, and weary at this very moment?
Barry simply felt as the world had stopped , and crashed upon him. With nobody near Barry screams out and agony . " Barry? Wha-wha-what happened?" Cisco exclaimed
" Sarah..."
" Barry..... what about her , what happened ?"
" she was the one in the Audi MR8, and she's not responding "
" Barr...I'm calling an ambulance "
Out of distress barry shuts off the ear piece , with his friends at star labs  no longer able to hear him. " WHY WHY WHY" were the only words able to come out of Barry's mouth. Yet who is Sarah? and why is our hero so upset? Simply because Sarah is his highschool sweetheart, the woman he loved , his girlfriend.  With Sarah unresponsive and with blood dripping from her forehead , left Barry to think she was dead. With Wally finally returning , he spots Barry and dashes toward him. Seeing the look in Barry's eyes , Wally immediately knew what was wrong .  As the ambulance sirens fill the air , Wally grabbed Barry ," we have to go...the ambulance  will take her to the hospital "  with Wally convincing Barry to head back to star labs , Barry looks back at the horrific scene . That he could of prevented . Yet simply he couldn't , because he wasn't fast enough .
