"I killed them." Alythia said with calmness. She then looked at me and said "YOu don't believe me, do you?" I looked back at her and said "Ma'am, why do you want us to believe you?" "I just want the credit for what I did." she said proudly. I looked at my partner, Xavier Ross, and said "I think we should believe her," Ross looked at me and laughed, "You realize we have a confession, we could arrest her on this." Ross only responded with a laugh. I then remembered the rule that Ross had: If you don't have more than one witness the case doesn't matter. I wish I knew why she thought she could do something like that, she was my best friend, because she was a sweetheart. I believed that she thought she was someone else, but I had to say that I believed her. "Well there will be a trial soon," I said with a saddened expression on my face, "then we can see if she really did it." I didn't believe her at all. The next thing that happened really shook me: she stared at me and screamed "GO TO HELL!!" I couldn't even look at her anymore, I just had to leave for the day. I told myself on the way out of the police station that I would be fine, that she would be fine.
