I sat there staring blankly at the wall, remembering the event that lead up to my situation. They had come to my town, they killed anyone who rested, and they took everyone under the age of 18 and flew us off in there huge helicopter to this place. We were then thrown into cells and told to sleep. That is what got me and everyone else stuck here. Now questions ran through my head, who are they, why did they bring us here why only everyone under the age 18. I don't know who they are, they haven't indicated what they want us for, and there's a list of things it could be, and they want us under 18, because 19 is considered an adult. I stand up and look around the room. It is small in the shape of a rectangle, the walls, floor, and roof are grey. There is a single sized bed and a small desk with a chair. The door has a small, and has a window on it, with bars keeping you from getting out. Down the halls there are sounds of crying children wanting to go home. In this room there is no way of escaping. I lay back down on the bed running the information through my mind again and again, trying to keep myself calm, or find something I missed. Slowly my eyes become heavy and I fall asleep.
"WAKE UP" I hear someone yell from in the hall. I sit up and head to my door. Then all the doors suddenly open and we are told to stand up straight outside our rooms. Having no other choice we follow orders, scared of what could happen if we don't. A man in a hooded cloak that covers the top half his face, walks down the hall giving us instructions. We then follow him as we are told to do. He leads us into a big room with a line of other children from our town, we are told to join it. At the end of the line, there is another person in a coat. They have a computer. "Name," the clearly female voice asks. "Alex Hills," I state clearly. "Continue through those doors," she says pointing at some big, white, doors.
